Applicants should have secured a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in the qualifying degree examination for General Category, 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) for OBC (Non Creamy layer) and 45% aggregate marks or 5.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
M.Lib.Sc	15	A bachelor's degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks for General Category, 45% marks OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates at Graduate level.
M. Com.	40	A bachelor's degree in commerce from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks for General Category, 50% marks OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates at Graduate level.
M. Sc.	191	A bachelor's degree in respective streams. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in the qualifying degree examination for General Category, 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) for OBC (Non Creamy layer) and 45% aggregate marks or 5.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
M.Tech in Materials Science & Technology	30	Candidates must have one of the following degrees- M. Sc. Physics / Chemistry /Applied Physics/Applied Chemistry / Materials Science/ Nanoscience / NanoTechnology/Electronics (OR) B.E/B.Tech. in Materials Science Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/ECE/EIE/EEE/Aeronautical Engineering/Applied Electronics/Ceramic Technology/Polymer Technology (except Computer Science/IT/Food Technology). Central University of Tamil Nadu Admission Procedure for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and appear in the CUCET.
After that, the candidates must register for the counselling process and choose CUTN as their preferred center.
The final admissions are offered to candidates who have locked their choices, applied for seat allotment, verified their documents and paid the admission fees.

Central University of Tamil Nadu Admissions for Doctoral Courses

Central University of Tamil Nadu admissions are offered on the basis of marks obtained in CUCET, followed by the process of counselling and performance in the personal interview. The eligibility criteria and the seats are given in the following table.

Central University of Tamil Nadu Admission Procedure for Doctoral Courses

Aspirants must qualify National Level Fellowship Examinations like UGC-CSIR -JRF/UGC-JRF.
Aspirants who have not appeared for National Level Fellowship Examinations must appear for CUCET.
Aspirants who have qualified in the National Level Fellowship Examinations need not appear for CUCET and directly appear for the interview.
The final admissions are offered on the basis of performance in the qualifying examination, interview, seat allotment, verification of documents and payment of admission fees.

Amidst the integrated courses offered by Central University of Tamil Nadu are as follows-
