Master of Technology in Materials Science is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur.
Admission to various programmes of the CUTN is done through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)
M. Sc. Physics / Chemistry /Applied Physics/Applied Chemistry / Materials Science/ Nano Science / Nano Technology/Electronics (OR) B.E/B.Tech in Materials Science Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/ECE/EIE/EEE/Aeronautical Engineering/Applied Electronics/Ceramic Technology/Polymer Technology (except Computer Science/IT/Food Technology). Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission is 60% for General Category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
