According to my experience the infrastructure of the college is good the classes are great, and the facilities are also well but in summers there is too much heat in the classrooms as there are only fans there and the grounds of the university are huge and there are all equipment off sports.
I am studying in DevOps branch in the B.E CSE the course structure are great and the value added and different courses given by the university are great but the facility of the university is not trained to much and don't have the knowledge. So you have to hustle yourself.
Placement opportunity buy the university are great. For placement you have to take the TPP course that is paid different from the course fees and for that subject your attendance must be 90% to be eligible for the campus placement.
As per the different opportunities and the VAC provided by the university the sees the all round growth of the student so according to me the university is value for money and the students are also provided the opportunities to learn other skills then their core domain.
Campus life is great you will meet peoples from all over the India and all over the world. So you will learn about the cultures of other peoples and will get the suitable environment for learning. And the campus are is full of trees and grass so you will feel fresh everyday as you go with your friends to enjoy.
Yes, my college have so many laboratories and various kinds of seminar halls also to conduct the events or any special guest invite. All the equipments are well maintained and no other things are disrupted. Fully wifi surrounding campus and well maintained. The living spaces are clean and the hostel and canteen food are hygienic.
Regarding academics all the best faculty were provided if any student faces any issue then the class representative can hold the power to change the faculty. Similarly the growth is good in compare to earlier faculties as freshers are given opportunities to serve their talents
The quality of placement at my college is outstanding for btech cse and the highest salary package is 1.34cr. avg is 5lpa and the process is pleasant as everywhere you will have the same process but the thing is you can get easily placed.
It is value for money and it costs 90k per year of mine as i take admission on 2021 and i feel my money is getting worth it.
Campus life is awesome but the thing is the classes were too much but the thing is you can enjoy as well if you can?but if you go anywhere then this is common.
NA
Infrastructure of the university is kind of one of the best in India . The south block of the university is the best in the whole campus but still many blocks are under construction , the auditoriums are way too good and the open theatre is the main attraction of the university.
In this university, Through the competition you can get the motivation by the teachers as well and the content you will get in this university is kind of way far from the expectations. The facility of LMS also enhance your learning.
From this university the placement percentage is approx 70% but in my course the scenario is based on the TPP course . For placement point of view you have to take TPP course unless you do not want the placement.
Comparatively the fees of university is nevertheless affordable and they also provide the scholarship based upon your merits too . I am also on a scholarship of 50%.
Campus life for engineering department is seriously stressful as the syllabus of this course is too much that you will not get the time of extra fun.
If you are opting a private university you are good to go but before that look upon all the other stuffs too like the crowd etc.
Infrastructure of My College Is Best i can say that. It has everything that an ideal college should have.Proper buildings, play grounds, sports complex(in which there are different types of games available like chess, badminton, cricket ground, and many more).Food courts are also available. There are al,ost 10-15 food courts available in our college.Classrooms have no A.C so in summer we have to face some temperature issue. But its okay.Classrooms are well furnished.Paints are done well.Overall best.
Teachers are good. One thiing i like is that the teachers are of all kind, means young teachers are also there sme aged professors are also there. So teacher combination is good. They also have good knowledge. They are supportive. They support students at their level best.
There are more than 750 companies visited our college last year.Big companies like Amazon,Google also visited.Average salary goes to almost 3-4 LPA.College also helps student in taking placements they provide proper guidance to the students before placement.
Fees of my college is 90000 per semester which is very high but anyone can do scholorship(CUCET) and get good discounts in fees.So overall 4/5.
Campus life is awesome.Actually i live in hostel, so it is easy for us to up down to college because from hostel it takes almost 5 min to reach college. At evening me and my friends go to college campus for walking playing and sometimes for eating also.
Overall i think one of the best private college in India.
well i'm currently a under graduate student at Chandigarh University till now i have really wonderfull experience at CU. the campus is located in garhuan ( a village in Punjab). Chandigarh university has world class infrastructure
Chandigarh university ensures excellence through flexible academic model matching the international standards. Here assignments are the worst nightmare for students. They take 2 msts(mid sem test) and then final exam EST(end sem test).
more than 450 companies including MNC's such as Microsoft Amazon have extended on-campus visits .highest package is around 50-54 lpa and average package is around 5 lpa. They have 100% placement, but companies are TCS, wipro .
The facility we have in our classroom is we have two boards one is smart board and the normal board and there are 4 to 5 speakers in classroom so everyone can listen. And I can tell that the campus and thé infrastructure is one of best campus in India.
Teacher are too friendly they listen your all problems and they try to help you out with all your problems until ur attendance is less than 75% if you dnt maintain that then you will not be allowed to appear in exam.
Most of my friend got placed. I was not interested so I dint take.I am focused on my higher studies and I am preparing for cat 2023 so I have to give my all my attention to the cat 2023.I really want to be in IIM.
Cost per year of my course was 100000 and hostel fees was 86000 per year but now it’s not the same they used to hike the price every year. Yaa I feel like I am getting thé worth of money.
I had the best part of my life.
I can’t compare this college with some other college might there are many colleges faar better than Chandigarh University but my experience was awesome specially the hostel life?
Infrastructure can not be any better. It's magnificent the way everything is maintained and the designs are marvellous. Most of the classrooms including labs are AC equipped and almost every class has an accessible wifi connection. The hostel is well furnished and the mess food is of good quality and also hygienic.
I am currently pursuing CSE, and the quality of teaching in my point of view is great. The faculty members are well qualified and most of them are PhD holders in their respective fields. The student-teacher relationship is great and it's fun and a very interactive environment in class.
Placements are good almost 80-90% of students (from CSE) get placed every year. College is trying to bring more and more MNCs and high h rated firms every year for students. They also provide company-specific placement training for students. The average package is around 7 LPA.
Without the scholarship, course fees will cost 2,80,000 per year (including hostel fees), and with the scholarship will get reduced. The money is not so worth it, they provide education at more than average cost but the in-campus interaction is good.
Campus life at CU is one of a kind. There is a presence of food courts at nearly every corner of campus. ATMs are available inside the campus. The medical facility is available 24x7 including their own ambulance which runs 24 hours. Events take place almost every month and that too on large scales.
Rules and regulations in the college are very strict. They follow their rules and policy very strictly and can even rusticate someone who tends to break it. The management can't be any better, they handle every query very professionally.
In college you will not get all the facilities bit you will get most of, like In every classrooms there are projector. But for summer you will even not get coolers in the classroom. Wifi is available in classes as well as in hostel, but In CSE block wifi is only upto teachers. Sufficient numbers of air conditioned labs are available. Every blocks have their particular libraries. And their is also a central Library. In summer timing for duct is restricted in hostels, even at it will be off by 4AM
I am studying Computer science and engineering here. The quality of teaching is vary from teacher to teacher. It is on luck, to get good teachers. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field, as every year there are few changes in the syllabus according to the need.So that it makes us job-ready. As TPP is added in third year for the students who want campus placement, cost an extra 9000 rupees, where you will get teachers to cover your missed topics.
Currently i am 2nd year pass out. I have no idea about exact number of students placed. But college put their efforts by bringing companies. Now Students have to crack the interview and clear the placement drive. Although a good number of students are placed from here, every year
A fully anti ragging campus. There are many restrictions. If there is any function in college, they wants our movement restricted to the fest ground, where boys and girls are separated. Timing for girl to bein hostel in 7 PM in summer and 6 PM in winters after that girls can't come out. And timing for boys is 9 PM. After the respective timings no student are allowed to enter campus. Your movement will be restricted till your hostel. Although there are places inside hostel to enjoy.
We had excellent amenities in our classrooms, labs, libraries, sports facilities , and hostels, making the overall experience preety positive. The wi-fi facility was up to date and with excellent connectivity.
Each and every student persuing a degree does so with primary goal of learning. At Chandigarh University, every course is revised and updated on a regular basis and the lecturers make sure to incorporate all the current advancement in teaching.
Students can sit in the placements after finishing their 5th semester. Nearly all of the leading IT companies, such as infosys and Cognizant, have visited our campus. The number of offers and the average package is increasing consistently throughout the year.
Education becomes more fun when it become pocket friendly. My computer Science engineering at Chandigarh University was very cost-efficient. Considering the amount of exposure i am getting from this course, i believe i am getting most value for money.
My campus is fairly attractive, situated in a descent location with strong infrastructure, and i enjoy my campus life quite a bit. Moreover our institution had several extracurricular activities and numerous functions, fairs and sports and contests were organised. Every year annual funtion too takes place.
Overall to me its the best college and i highly recommend it to all my friends and other students.
Yes my college have the needed infrastructure for a delicate student who want to be succesful in future. there are libraries in every block of the college and the wifi service is also provided in the campus.
If I talk about the quality of the teachers it would be a shame for me to compare those teachers because these teachers have the best teaching skills in the entire Punjab. And all are well qualitied for their post.
The placement cell is always active in the university to get the best placements in the university and they have provided the best placements with 54 lakhs at the maximum till now in the history since the college was built
Actually, my course fees for the semester is 90000/- but the college provides a scholarship test for everyone who is eager to get the admission in the college. Yes, i feel it worth because the kind of education i want is i am getting.
Campus life is the best in my experince because you can gather at any spot in the college it will be a quality time spent in that spot and the resources which are availble are might be of higher price but are worth buying.
