The training methodology provides integrated inputs which help to develop a high degree of conceptual skills, analytical skills and quality technical knowledge base among aspirants and prepares them for a bright future in the Eyecare Industry.
Chitkara School of Health Sciences (CSHS), in collaboration with Sankara Eye Care, has introduced a 4-Year full-time program in Optometry, which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system. The program is envisaged to develop multipurpose ophthalmic manpower at paramedical level. The program will enable a student to become a competent person in providing service as an Optician, Optometrist, Refraction Specialist and Ophthalmic Assistant to the community. Our training methodology will provide students with integrated inputs that will help develop their conceptual & analytical skills, and a strong technical knowledge base, in order to prepare them for a bright future in the eye care sector of the Healthcare Industry.
Admission in Bachelor of Optometry is Based on Personal Interview.
