The primary goal of Occupational Therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational Therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, though a sequence of actions called the Occupational Therapy Process. There are several versions of this process as described by numerous scholars. All practice frameworks include the component of evaluation (or assessment), intervention and a framework though which occupational therapists assist and contribute to promoting health and ensure structures & consistency among therapist.

The candidate should have passed the XII passed (Physics, Chemistry, Biology as compulsory subjects) from any recognized board.
