The 2-Year Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics program aims to prepare postgraduate students towards his/her professional autonomy and inculcate the concept of research and evidence-based practice. The program also aims to incorporate the concept of management in Physiotherapy and experience in clinical training, and undergraduate teaching partly, to acquaint the student with the concept of quality care at the institutional as well as the community level. The Master of Physiotherapy program teaches students to develop the ability to use highly-developed clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and treat people with movement problems caused by a wide variety of joint, muscle, nerve and metabolic disorders.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed BPT degree from institutions where the mode of study is a full-time program, with minimum 4 ½ years duration from this university or any other university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship.
Candidates who have passed BPT through correspondence or distance education are not eligible.
