Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program and it is offered by Christ University, Bangalore and approved by AICTE.
This program B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) is jointly conducted by Christ University, Bengaluru and ARAI, Pune to develop a new breed of engineers required for the ever expanding automotive industry. We thrive to improve the technical and professional skills of the students through various teaching methods, hands-on and out of class education. We give more stress to project-based learning that integrates research, education, and outreach.
ARAI has deputed one of its faculty members as Resident Faculty Member as its cost for coordinating and delivering lectures to the students to this program in person or through WEBEX. The initial intake of students will be the maximum of 60 in number per batch as per AICTE Norms. Successful candidates of the program will be awarded B.Tech (Automotive Engineering) degree with the notation “In Academic Collaboration with ARAI”. Job placement for the graduates of the program will be facilitated by the University and ARAI jointly.In collaboration with ARAI, similar facilities of ARAI are being built at the Faculty of Engineering for the students to get the latest training, which will help them to meet the requirements of the Automotive Industry.

Admissions are done on the basis of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Personal interview and Assessment of past performance in Class 10, Class 11/12, during the Personal Interview.
Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the 10+2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.
