DTU Delhi Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

Admission in DTU is offered to a total of 53 courses. DTU admissions are offered at the UG and PG level only. DTU admission to B.Tech courses is done based on candidates' scores in JEE Main. The university accepts UCEED scores for admission to the B.Des course. Candidates' score in the last qualifying exam is taken into consideration for admission to B.B.A and B.A. (Hons) programmes. At the postgraduate level, Delhi Technological University admission to M.Tech. courses is given based on GATE score.

The university conducts an entrance exam for M.Sc. admission. CEED scores are accepted for admission to M.Sc. courses. Students seeking admission in B.Tech courses must have appeared for and scored valid marks in JEE Main. The university offers 19 courses at the undergraduate level. B.Tech, B.Des, B.A. (Hons) and B.B.A in multiple disciplines are the UG degree courses offered by DTU. The duration of B.Tech and B.Des courses is 4 years. On the other hand, B.A. (Hons) and B.B.A courses are of 3 years duration. Students seeking admission in B.Tech courses must have appeared for and scored valid marks in JEE Main.

DTU B.Tech Admission Process

• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and secure valid marks.

• After securing valid marks in JEE Main, candidates need to apply through JoSAA counselling.

• Candidates need to fill college choices and select DTU as the first choice.

• Candidates will be allotted seats for DTU admissions on the basis of JEE Main score during the counselling process.

• Upon being called by the university on selection on the basis of JEE Main score and participation in the counselling process, the candidate must submit necessary documents. 

• The process of admission will come to an end with the payment of fees and verification of documents.

• Selected candidates have to get the documents verified and pay the requisite fee.

• Basic requirement for admission is 10+2 in any stream. Mathematics mandatory for B.A. (Hons) and English for B.B.A.

• Candidates must apply for DTU admissions by filling the online application form.

• The Delhi Technological University admission is based on merit of the qualifying exam and shortlisting will be done accordingly.

• Based on candidates' scores in 12th class they are selected for admission.

• To complete enrolment, the candidate must finish payment and document verification.

Delhi Technological University PG Admissions

At the postgraduate level, the university offers a total of 34 courses. M.Tech., M.Sc. and M.Des are the PG courses offered by Delhi Technological University. The duration of all postgraduate courses is 2 years. The university offers M.Tech. courses in multiple specialisations like artificial intelligence, data science, power electronics and systems, bioinformatics, and more.

• Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech have to apply and appear for GATE.

• Applicants must register for the M.Tech programme through DTU application form released on the official DTU website. 

• The selection of candidates is done on the basis of the candidate's GATE ranking. 

• Candidates selected for DTU admission need to visit the campus.

• Candidates need to complete the document verification and fee payment to secure admission.

Delhi Technological University M.Sc. Admission Process

• Applicants must register for the M.Sc. course by filling out the DTU application form available on the university's official website. 

• For the DTU admission, candidates have to appear for an entrance examination administered by the university. 

• Applicants will be chosen on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants during the admission examination. 

• For document verification or review and fee payment, chosen candidates have to report to DTU.

• After these formalities, the candidate's admission shall be confirmed.
