NLU Lucknow Scholarship

Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow provides scholarships to meritorious and needy students. To avail NLU Lucknow scholarships, qualified and eligible students have to fill in the application for the scholarship. The university offers RMLNLU scholarships for SC/ST/OBC candidates in Uttar Pradesh who are pursuing their studies at this university. It also provides scholarships to the students of unreserved categories having family income less than Rs.2.00 lakhs per annum. NLU Lucknow students in these categories are also eligible for reimbursement of their annual fee if they meet the requirements set forth by the Social Welfare Department, Backward Class Welfare Department, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. RMLNLU is also included in the list of institutions of excellence under the central sector scholarship scheme of top-class education for SC/ST students.

Under this NLU Lucknow scholarship scheme, five qualifying SC/ST students receive a scholarship that covers the full tuition fee, living expenses of Rs.2,220/- per month, books and stationery of 'Rs.3,000/- per year, and computer/accessories of up to Rs.45,000/- per year per student. Reimbursement/partial reimbursement of tuition fees along with other financial incentives is also available under UGC scheme of free education for sports medal winners/participants of national/international events. RMLNLU scholarships for SAP category students are also available through various initiatives of National Handicapped Finance Development Corporation (NHFDC).

Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow offers various academic and infrastructural facilities for students and faculty members. NLU Lucknow facilities include separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls equipped with fully furnished rooms, on a double occupancy basis. The library of RMLNLU Lucknow is well equipped with textbooks, reference books, back volumes of journals and reports etc covering various aspects of the law. Infrastructure is class apart! The classes are centrally air conditioned. The hostels are clean and tidy. The campus is quite well maintained. The library is packed with latest edition books and also there is photo copy shop inside the library .

Infrastructure is good. Academic area is well kept and there is centralised AC. Classroom is huge. Library is also nice. There are sweepers around the campus working day in and out to make the campus clean.

College Infrastructure

RMLNLU has all kinds of necessary infrastructure, equipment, and facilities. The classrooms have centered air conditioning, projectors, white/black boards. Best furniture as compared to other NLUs along with proper ventilation and cleanliness. The food available in the Hostel Mess is quite hygienic but it is almost like eating a marriage food daily in your meals. We get 3 square meals and evening snacks along with midnight paid mess during exam time.

How to Apply for R.M.N.L.U. in the course of BA LLB 2022?

Dear Akriti,

Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is one of the twenty two universities that take admission based on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

To apply for the BA LLB Course for 2022, you must have successfully qualified for CLAT 2022. Once you get the result, you can apply for counselling with the CLAT consortium after paying the requisite fees. Make sure to keep preference for RMNLU high. If you get through the counselling successfully you'll have to pay the fees to enroll in RMNLU.

If you do not get an NLU in the CLAT counselling, the counselling fees will be refunded.

Is there any state domicile available in rmlnlu and what rank should a general category to get into it

Dear student,

This is to inform you that there is existence of state domicile in RMLNLU, and thus the cut off for each year varies accordingly and keeps on changing each year.

Also a good rank for general category is ranging between 200 to 500 for the first round while in the second round it gets closed at around 600.
