Bachelor of Business Administration - Law is a 5-year integrated undergraduate (Hons) program with a vision of having a high the eminence of legal training, inculcating social justice, cultural and ethical values in students to emerge as qualified legal professionals and competent citizens to advance the role of law in society. To empower students to progress as intellectually alive, morally upright, socially responsible citizens with a progressive attitude, ever ready for continuous personal and professional growth with global standards. To foster a close working relationship between the academia, judiciary, legal professionals and the government by educating budding lawyers to serve the public and fostering justice and imparting the knowledge, values and competencies needed to excel in a changing legal world.
5-years (Hons) program in Law is designed to equip students with the knowledge, tools, methods, and theories of Law in a way such that they can apply them in practice. The aim of the program is to help students to critically and objectively analyze legal issues affecting various sections of the society, the pendency of cases, organize legal aid camps. To develop analytical and quantitative abilities, problem-solving aptitude along with sound understanding of various Acts and objectives with which they were framed through academics and to motivate and encourage students to develop practical knowledge by participating in Moot Courts, Interning with Law firms and lawyers of repute, Researching various bills being tabled and active discussion amongst the student community.
The selection process comprises of CLAT/MHCET/LSAT and UGPET followed by a personal interview.
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50
percent from any Recognized Board (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidate should have a graduate with minimum 50 percent from any Recognized University(45% for reserved categories.)
