Yes it has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Every facility is well maintained and cleaned time to time and the food and the environment is very hygienic and it is a safe and sound environment
I am studying international business because it is related indirectly to the family business and I wanted to pursue it. The quality of teaching is good all the teachers are well informed and are really to answer any doubt and question anytime we ask.
The placement companies are very good but at the time of the internship period all the companies tried to extend and some even did extend the period of 3 months. According to me I feel more than 60% if students were placed and even with the salary of 5 to 6 lakhs per annum.
The cost of my course is more than 2 lakhs per annum. Yes there are many programs in which they provide more than 60% of the funds which is pretty helpful and also these places are very useful because it helps us explore and in experience a lot because in my course it is necessary and it provides us with these kind of opportunities a lot.
The college campus is very safe and clean environment and has a hygienic nature and there are many amenities like sports courts, food courts and labs and even has workshops that are helpful. But sometimes we get lost in the campus because there is no navigation help as it is a very huge campus so it is necessary so for a person visiting first time he/she might get lost. The campus can easily handle emergencies.
MIT WPU has a very well-maintained classroom, labs, Infrastructure, and campus. It has almost all the necessary instruments and machinery that are required in the curriculum. It has sufficiently good computers in apt quantities. A big playground to host events and play sports along with a dedicated basketball ground.
Academically MIT-WPU provides a wide range of opportunities to the students to widen their knowledge in a particular field. There are frequent workshops on current technology trends, guest lectures by esteemed personalities, and introductions to other domains are key moments during the course time.
MIT-WPU is one of the top colleges. This college has an impressive placement rate, which is why an increasing number of students are enrolling here. This college has companies hiring qualified graduates from around the world. The Placement cell here is excellent and as a result, the number of companies that come to hire is increasing too. Every year 150 + companies visit here. Companies that have visited are Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tata Power, etc
If you have dreamt of great campus life in your graduation then MIT-WPU is the best option there. Apart from the disciplines and rules that every college has MIT-WPU has a lot about Events, clubs, celebrations, and coming together. There will never be a dull moment and you can be assured that your college days will be one of the best years in your life!
MIT has one of the best infrastructure across all engineering campuses in Pune city. Mechanical Department well maintained laboratories. There are E-boards in the classrooms which is really good. MIT KRC(Knowledge Resource Centre) has variety of books from Engineering, Management, Competitive Exams etc. But this is not applicable for all departments. There is very facility of printing and many times we have to got out of the campus to get print outs of 3-4 pages.
Quality of teaching is pretty decent . Like every other college some professors are really good when it comes to teaching methods , cooperation with the students while some are not. For mech branch Curriculum is updated but they omitted some part which was there when MIT-WPU was MIT-COE.
MIT has its own Placement and internship portal which is really good thing. According to MIT-WPU website highest package for the 2020 batch was 37.26 lacs per annum and average package was 5.02 lacs per annum. In year 2020 some over 600 engineers were placed .But this data was for MIT COE batch. MIT has not yet updated placement data for its golden WPU batch.
I don't think amount money we are investing is value for money. Since we are in pandemic from last one and half year, we are not even using college facilities and infrastructure yet we have to pay full amount of fees which is totally unfair with the students.
MIT -WPU has one of the best and biggest campuses across Pune city. MIT-WPU hosts various technical as well as non technical events for students. Cultural fest Aarohan is one of the best culture events across all colleges in Pune.
My overall experience with the college is pretty decent. They should reduce the college fees but I don't see it happening in near future.
The infrastructure and facilities on this campus are very best chemistry and computer labs are very well maintained. Hostel and transport facilities are also provided. The food in Cantin is very hygienic.
The college is offering various courses for bachelor and MBA including special courses for many other students. Teachers staff is very well. They usually teach on screen instead of blackboard. Many webinar are taken.
Many product based service companies come in college. The placement is very good the nearly 90% students get placed. Also packages are very satisfactory. The highest package is about 20 lpa and average package is 4lpa
The whole campus is pretty big and accommodating, the classrooms can hold more than 90 students comfortably and each classroom has a smart board and podium. Its quiet commendable that after the first lockdown our university was able to cope up with the changing environment and adapt to online classes as early as 2 weeks into the lockdown. Pune unversity affiliated colleges and some private colleges took more than 6 months to reboot.
Like any other college in the world , there will be some professors whose lectures you will attend to gain genuine knowledge and there will be others whose lectures you will attend to recover lost attendance. The first two trimester has subjects which are similar to 12th grade commerce subjects and after that the curriculum starts to get interesting. We have in-house as well as visiting faculties.
Mainly students from three courses opt for placements, i.e, BBA (general) , BBA (IB) and BBA (CA). Anyone who wants a placement gets one. However, its extremely difficult to get your dream profile in your dream company. Companies coming for placement include: Infosys, capgemini, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Tresvista, Northern Trust, Credit Suisse , KPMG, etc. The major roles are offered in the finance and HR domain. The highest salary offered is 7 Lakh CTC and average is 3 Lakh CTC.
very spacious, uses smart technology, vicinity well maintained, classrooms are hygienic, lots of space, diverse library, good seating arrangement, food facilities, vending machines on a certain floor, proper lifts, clean and hygienic.
curriculum is updated every year for my course, new streams and course are added every year, good teaching faculty for every subject, practicals conducted every week, internships and trainings are provided.
I'm still in my last year so I don't have much idea about the placements. But I've heard they do give good placements. But that also again depends on what course you're doing. For my course it's hard to find opportunities.
I would say it's pretty expensive. 1 lakh per year is a lot. The management lacks in a lot of places. I feel like it's not the money's worth. But at the same time the teaching facilities and the amount of knowledge you get is all worthy enough. it gives you a good college experience and lots of opportunities to grow as a person.
amazing campus life. lots of food restaurants and turfs around the college. a lot of greenery in the college itself. it's situated between hills so provides a calm and nice experience. a lot of space to move in the campus.
It's my last year and I've have one of the best college experiences ever. I've got an amazing faculty. It's like having a friend and a teacher in the same person. They pay attention to every single individual. Made amazing friends and socialized very much. Lots of volunteering opportunities to learn how to deal with people of all kinds. Chilling in college porches after classes is one of the best things. Has a lot of good dogs. Not a noisy college. It's big and quite and has amaziing spots. :)
Speaking of infrastructure, MIT has a top noch overall well established infrastructure, but it is not used productively as it is designed to impress the outline design but the inside is old and miserable. Class room alotment and space management is poor when it comes to students convince. All the classes have smart teaching setup with good connectivity. WiFi and open internet is not accessible to all. Labs are old and less advanced with the current requirements. Apparatuses are poor in condition
Academics playing a very crucial role in the knowledge foundation building is somewhere overshadowed by peace and spirituality concept. With the trimester pattern students and teachers dont get enough time to get the momentum of the subject. Practical knowledge being a major and important prerequisite for job and internships are not focused much due to lacking time.
Highest package might be 20Lakhs but the average package ratio is way too less. The ratio of students getting a good job is very low. Recently in this final year batch only 4 out of 50 got placed in the desired placements.
Not at all. Annual fees is 3Lakhs (approx). And it is not worth to be honest. I dont regret my decisions but i really think that you can find comparetively good colleges for the half price than this.
Awesome. Posh clean and green.
Its a great college overall.
the infrastructure is pretty good. they have workshops , libraries , canteen ,playground etc. and the maintenance is good as well . the campus and infrastructure is very clean and well maintained . they have all the necessary facilities .
i am studying user experience design. design is new so they don't have much professors yet but they are planning and recruiting more teachers. the curriculum is good but they don't have enough teachers . the curriculum can be better.
i have heard that the placements in MIT are pretty good but since the college is new in designing field and only two batches are there, i don't really know about placement yet.hopefully the placements in design will be as good as other fields in MIT.
the fees are 2,75,000 per year. the college fees are more. considering pandemic situation they should have decreased the college expenses.
the campus is very good . they have workshops , canteen and some garden area as well.
The overall infrastructure is very good but it also differs from department to department. As far labs are concerned, some are to be still maintained and also stock of apparatus is little less. Libraries have to increase the amount of books because sometimes students don't recibe appropriate books. Classrooms are clean and maintained well. Overall infrastructure is satisfactory.
I am currently pursuing B. Pharm which I think is little offbeat course in allied health sciences. I choose this since it has huge scope in future as it has many fields to apply and it could prove a demand able profession in future. The curriculum is as per PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) which is good initiative by college. The current syllabus gives you a good outlook of various subjects that helps you to understand your profession more clearly.
From our seniors point of view the college has provided good placements uptil now so not that issue. But if you are a M Pharm graduate definitely your salary would be more than B.Pharm and it is recommended by many to do PG. College always guides you that how to excel in this course so that you would receive a better placement. A student should also should have a good overall resume to create a impact including co and extra curricular activities along with academics.
The course is of 1,90,000 which you could sum up to 2 lakh but I think college should provide necessary stuff like xerox copies of practical books or notes by including them in fee which actually student's have to buy separately everytime. Otherwise looking at maintainance cost it is acceptable.
Campus life is fun. College provides a good exposure to students of all departments with various activities including co curricular and extra curricular. Till now their were no emergency situations but if arrived any then staff people handle it properly . Staff is supportive.
Till now it is good experience.Still the best is yet to come if college implements more as per the feedback that students usually give yearly. Still their is scope of improvement. The overall college experience is good.
I will say it's good. The classrooms are clean and the campus is clean. We have smart boards. There are all the necessity. There's a library, a big open ground, a canteen, auditorium, art studio, a basketball court.
I am studying user experience design. I always wanted to do something creative. The classes are great and the faculty is always there to guide you and give you new opportunities. Everyone tries to give their best and support the students.
Can't say much about it right now as the best batch has not yet passed. But right now the faculty always pushes us to get our portfolio ready and for the upcoming internships. There is a lot to learn.
There are lots of fun clubs one can be a part of
Hope you are doing great. I would advise you to enroll in LPU if you want to pursue a B. Tech in computer science because you will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge there. If you want to major in mechanical or civil engineering, LPU will undoubtedly give you more practical experience.
Any other university cannot compare to LPU in performance. It is a UGC-recognized and well-known university that is ranked among the top 5 in the nation for its excellent educational programmes, unmatched job placements, extensive in-class exposure, and lovely 600-acre campus with the newest amenities.
