Sports
Fakir Mohan University, Balasore provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students on the campus premises. The sports facilities that are available for games and sports in FMU are a cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton court, basketball ground and indoor sports complex.

In FM University Balasore, there are four girls' hostels on the new campus, Nuapadhi for the students of the university. I.T Infrastructure
Fakir Mohan University, Balasore has a well-maintained IT infrastructure and it controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.
Medical/Hospital
FM University Balasore has a Health Care Centre (HCC) that provides regular and emergency treatment to patients in accordance with PHC guidelines with OPD services and in-patient services (6 beds). HCC services cater to students, teaching, and non-teaching staff members of FMU and their dependents.
Library
Fakir Mohan University, Balasore has a central library named Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Library in the memory of late Dr. H.K Mahatab, a great freedom fighter as well as former Chief Minister of Odisha. At present, the library has a large collection of books and back volumes of periodicals. The central library has been modernised to give computerised services to the academic community of the university at large.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
FM University Balasore has two guest houses on the campus. FMU guest house at the old campus has four double-occupancy rooms and a dining hall; the guest house on the new campus has eight double-occupancy rooms for visitors to the university. The rooms are well-equipped, with the provision of food (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) in the dining hall facility, which has a well-spaced attached kitchen. During seminars/conferences and workshops, the university guest house was appropriately used for food and lodging.

College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure is pretty average. The facilities are very basic. The condition of Labs and classrooms are clean. The campus is equipped with WiFi. Still, I expected a bit more before applying for it.

Yes, the central placement cell of FM University plays an active role in arranging on-campus and off-campus placement drives. It also arranges placement training for final year students for enhancement of employability. Placement Cell contacts industries throughout the country for the summer training/ project work of the students. A faculty member is looking after the Cell. The Cell is taking up career guidance for students and arranging Campus Interviews. They also arrange entrepreneurship motivation camp for the students to take up entrepreneurship as an alternative career.
