The JEE Cutoff fluctuates every year. Certain factors are known to determine cutoffs of recent years. They are as follows:
The number of candidates: The total number of candidates is a very basic reason for the cutoff to be higher or low for a year. The higher the total number of candidates in a year, the higher will be the cutoff due to increased competition and vice versa.
The difficulty of the test: The difficulty level of the exam also helps to determine the cutoff of a year. If the paper is highly difficult then the cutoff will drop eventually and vice versa.
Former cutoffs: The cutoffs of a previous couple of years can also ascertain the cutoff of the latest year as the cutoff is generally somewhere nearby to that of the previous years.
Number of Seats: One of the factors to determine the cutoff of a year is to know the total number of seats available. The cutoff rises if the seats available are limited. This factor goes along with the first one.
As we can see, a greater number of students have applied for Mechanical engineering. Therefore, it's the most sought after programme at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Electronics and Communication engineering falls in third place as Electrical engineering reserves the second place. Computer Science and Engineering secure the last place but have close enough i.e. a considerable number of students who study it at GKV. The cutoff, therefore, varies accordingly and has accommodated these students in their desired program at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar.
Students who hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate percentage and have qualifying scores in any of the MBA entrance exams like GMAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT and even GRE are eligible to apply for the MBA program at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar College.
MBA cutoff criteria are the same as other course cutoffs. The entrance exam cutoff of recent year can be predicted with the help of some factors like:
The number of seats: This is one of the main factors that affect the cutoff the most. If the number of seats is limited, then the cutoff automatically goes up and vice versa.
The number of candidates: The total number of candidates affects the cutoff significantly. The higher the number of students appears for the exam in a year, the higher will be the cutoff and vice versa.
Exam difficulty: Another factor that predicts the cutoff easily is the difficulty level. If the difficulty level is high then the cutoff will decrease accordingly.
Previous cutoffs: While determining the cutoff of a year, you must also take a look at the previous year’s cutoffs. It is also possible that the recent year’s cutoffs will be quite near to that of the previous.
CAT is the most famous entrance exam for MBA aspirants. The number of participants has grown significantly over the years. GMAT, MAT fall in second place considering the number of students for these exams. Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar also gives admission for the MBA program based on GRE scores which is an international level Entrance Test.
