Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Clubs, Committees and Councils:
Eco Club: The Eco Club of Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is handled by the Zoology Department of the University. The eco-club as the name suggests provides help in keeping the environment clean by conducting seminars and conferences over sustainable development, managing waste disposal and banning the use of plastic or other non-degradable material which causes harm to nature. The members of the eco-club also develop various recycling schemes which are beneficial for the ecosystem.
Developer Student Clubs: The DSC or Developer Student Clubs are student-made committees which work together and avail the resources offered by Google Developer. The members of this student committee work as a team and solve real-life problems and issues with the help of technology. The members can come up with their creative innovations, expand their network, learn new techniques and enjoy their college life all at once.
NCC: Every year 60 candidates of engineering, 16 candidates of medical and 6-7% of PG candidates are allotted to join the NCC in all Indian universities. There are many benefits of joining NCC such as a certain number of NCC students who possess above grade C certificate are allotted into UPSC and SSC. Preference is given to NCC cadets during the selection of Soldiers for the Indian Army. Many vacancies are reserved for NCC cadets in state and central government, police force and paramilitary forces.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is equipped with several departmental libraries as well as digital libraries which provide academic content to the students. There are many departments in the university and each department has their own separate libraries. The students can easily issue books from the library by paying the required library fee and use/read the books for free. Having a departmental library is very efficient as the students don’t have to rummage through every single section to find the desired book. A digital library is a library which is a collection of books, audiobooks, images, videos or other media organized according to the various disciplines and is readily available on the internet or CD ROM. The faculty or the students can upload documents or notes digitally on the virtual library and the students can access it online.

Good environment to study. Full wi-fi campus. Classes equipped with smart boards.It has a library which has all the books needed for curriculum. There is also a sports centre which has all the sports equipments.

I selected GURUKULA KANGRI VISHWAVIDYALAYA, HARIDWAR because the fees are very less and it is a government college. I got the preferred Branch. The faculties are here outstanding. The facilities are outstanding. Co-ed is not available, it's a boys college. The hostel facility is there for all-year students.I applied in this college in the spot round. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University) aims to provides in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and research with the latest computer facilities. The department has tie-ups with TCS, IBM, EMC2, HALONIX, NPTEL AND IIT-B (SPOKEN TUTORIAL). Department was established in 2000. It was the pioneer department of FET. Candidates who have appeared in the final year of the qualifying examination must produce their results by 15 October 2020 unless their admission is deemed to have been cancelled.
