HBTU Kanpur Facilities

HBTU Kanpur Clubs, Councils and Committee:

Cultural Sub Council: The task of discovering the realms of our cultural abilities is assigned to the HBTU Cultural Sub Council. The students are supported by the club to groom their hidden cultural talents. HBTU's (ODYSSEY) national level activities are coordinated by council.
Yoga Club: The HBTU yoga club organises different sessions for students. These sessions are generally conducted in the morning hour or on weekends.
Literary Sub Council: Different debates, seminars and competition activities are held between students in the Literary Sub Council. To meet the literary need of learners, the club regularly organises debates, community discussions and different activities.
Personality Development Club: HBTU Personality Development Club helps students boost their overall personality and makes them more relaxed and confidential in the influential business world for their brilliant future.
Photography Club: Photography club is dedicated to the members who have a knack of photography. The photography club is responsible for the photographs of different fests and events.
Sports Club: The HBTU Sports Club conducts various inter- and intra-university activities to pioneer the students' teamwork. Cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis are the sports facilities provided by this club.
Hobby Club: The hobby club is designed to enhance the hobbies of students. This club works for the overall development of students.
NSS: The key aims of the National Service Scheme (NSS) are to recognise the community's needs and concerns and engage them in problem solving. Develop a sense of social and civic responsibility amongst themselves. Using their skills to find realistic solutions to personal and community problems

Boys Hostel
The HBTU hostel is one of the perfect places to stay away from home. Equipped with all the essential amenities the HBTU hostels will give you homely ambience and good food.
Medical/Hospital
The health centre of HBTU campus is open 24x7 for any emergency. The medical consultants and ambulance is available for students and staff.
Gym
Gymnasium facilities are available in HBTU campus. There are a wide variety of fitness equipment in the gym, such as treadmills, cross trainers, exercise cycles, exercise balls, dumbbells and machines for strength training. All the equipment available at the gym are free for residents to use.

I.T Infrastructure
The computer centre facility of HBTU is well equipped with the latest IT facilities.

The HBTU canteen is open for 12 hours a day for the students and staff. The canteen provides tasty and healthy vegetarian snacks and food.
Auditorium
East Campus of the University has a fully air-conditioned auditorium equipped with good light and sound system.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The Guest House of HBTU is available for the parents, guests, faculty and other designated staff. The VIP suits are also available in HBTU guest house.
Convenience Store
The postal facility is available in the West Campus of the University for Faculty, staff, and students. In addition, the main post office is located in the Nawabganj area near the East Campus

College has got the great infrastructure facilities like gym, cricket ground , football ground, badminton court, basketball court volleyball court etc.. aur college classrooms attack with both digital and blackboards and we also have facilities like lecture halls with the projectors for possible visualisation and thorough Study technique

College Infrastructure

As the college is 100 years old so the infrastructure is not so good. It could have better classrooms, laboratories and hostels. The classrooms have a smart boards but there is no Wi-Fi connection in the college campus neither in the hostels. Smart boards are good and teachers usually teach on them. Hostel rooms are a large and spacious and they are regularly cleaned. Mess food is good as compared to other places. Non vegetarian food is not served only vegetarian food is served in the hostel. College Infrastructure

Yeah absolutely.our college have all necessary facilities and equipment but the little drawback about college is infrastructure inspite of this the laboratories, libraries, sports centers and hostels are well maintained with some perks like wifi,Gym , ambulance service for sick students etc. In hostels workers maintain the hygiene and safety.

Harcourt Butter Technical University is historically known for generating great Chemical Engineers from it's campus year after year who are recruited by erstwhile PSUs or Public Sector Undertakings like IOCL, HPCL, BARC, BHEL and so on. According to this year trends with 70 percentile in SC category the rank would be in range of 16k to 18k. With this statistics you can easily qualify Jee Main and can particiate in JEE Advanced but there is no chance of you to get any seat in any NIT under the other state quota.
There were a total of 2.6 lakh candidates who cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, out of which a total of 1.6 lakh students, including 50 NRI, have registered for the JEE (Advanced) 2022. Among them, 35625 SC candidates and 1875 SC-PWD candidates appeared making it to a total of 37500.
For the sc, you must receive at least 5% in each topic to qualify, with a minimum overall score of 17%. However, you need to score higher to acquire a decent rank or get into IIT. Aim for at least 30 to 40 percent on the exam.
