HNLU Raipur Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur offers admission for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes. To get HNLU admissions, the candidate must meet the eligibility criteria. To get HNLU admissions at the UG level the students should appear for CLAT while for the PG course students should appear for the CLAT PG examination. The HNLU courses available at the university are B.A. L.L.B (Hons) at UG level, while L.L.M course at PG level and Ph.D. Law at Doctoral level. The HNLU admissions will be based on marks obtained in the Common Law Admission test (CLAT). HNLU B.A.L.L.B (Hons) Admission

The Hidatullah National Law University admissions offer for the course B.A.L.L.B (Hons) at the Undergraduate level. The duration of the programme is 5 years. The HNLU admission offers 23 optional papers at B.A.L.L.B (Hons). The candidate must select 6 optional papers during their 5 years of the programme.

• The candidate should appear for the CLAT examination and should obtain a valid score in it. 

• Authorities then release the CLAT cutoff.

• The eligible candidates will receive a mail or SMS to a registered number or mail ID.

• The eligible candidates must register for CLAT counselling.

• Participate in CLAT counselling and fill out college choices according to their priorities.

• Candidates are shortlisted based on their CLAT score, choices made, and seat availability.

• Seats are assigned in five rounds. Candidates who are assigned seats in the first round have three options: accept the seat, participate in the second round for graduation, or withdraw from the counselling.

• The allotted candidates must visit the campus.

• The aspirant should submit the required documents and pay the course fees to complete the admissions process.

HNLU L.L.M Admission

The Hidatullah National Law University offers admission to the Postgraduate Programme, which includes the L.L.M course. The university offers L.L.M. courses at the Postgraduate level. The duration of the course is  1 ear. The HNLU offers 3 specialisations in L.L.M. Programme.

• The candidate should appear for the CLAT PG examination.

• The CLAT PG cutoff has been announced by the appropriate authorities.

• The eligible candidates must register for and attend CLAT PG counselling.

• The candidate should select the college choices according to their preference.

• Colleges are allotted to candidates based on the choices they make, their CLAT PG scores, and their category.

• Candidates are selected for college in five rounds. Candidates who are assigned seats in the first round have three options: accept the seat, participate in subsequent rounds for upgradation, or exit the counselling.

• Visit the campus once you have been allotted to HNLU Raipur.

• The selected candidates can freeze their seats in the L.L.M programme by paying fees and submitting the required documents.

HNLU Ph.D Admission

The Hidatullah National Law University offers a Doctorate in Philosophy programme in Law. The doctoral programme at HNLU aims to provide a platform for students from legal and interdisciplinary fields to pursue their academic interests and contribute to their chosen field of study.

• The candidate has to appear for the All-India Ph.D entrance test.

• Candidate who has qualified for UGC NET or SLET are exempted from the Entrance Test.

• The shortlisted candidates will be required to present their research interests/areas in front of the Admission Committee, followed by an interview.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the following criteria: 

a) their competence to conduct the proposed research; and 

b) the feasibility/suitability of conducting the proposed research work at the University.

c) The proposed area of research's contribution to knowledge creation/upgradation.

• The shortlisted candidate should pay the admission fee along with the submission of documents to freeze the seat.

• Mark sheet of class 12th/ graduation 

• CLAT admit card. 

• Transfer certificate from the last institution where you studied. 

• Migration certificate if any.

• Reservation certificates.

• PWD/SAP certificate if applicable and allotted under PWD category.

• Certificate of Dependency on a Freedom Fighter (DFF), if applicable.

• Domicile Certificate, if applicable and assigned to a seat in the Domicile Category.
