Master of Business Administration is full-time degree offered by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The MBA program is spread over four semesters. The curricula of the program have been designed with the objective of inculcating technical, human, analytical and conceptual skills among the students. The knowledge of different functional areas of management is further enriched by offering specializations in three fields, namely Finance, Marketing, Human Resource.

For facilitating participative learning, the Business School utilizes a number of techniques including case study, management games, role plays, group discussions, brainstorming, simulations, quizzes, problem-solving, etc. Through a spectrum of modern educational gadgets, learning is made a more pleasant and unforgettable experience.

The Number of Seats- The HPUBS admits 120 students for MBA course. Out of which 60 seats are under subsidized category and 60 seats are under Non -subsidized category

Eligibility Criteria

Any first bachelor's degree of a university, established by law in India, at least with 50% marks(45% maks in the case of Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe candidate). The students who have completed and are appearing for their final bachelor degree examination shall be allowed to appear in Himanchal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPUMAT).

Admission Details

The admission is based on competitive examination which comprises of applications ratings, Management Aptitude Test (objective type having multiple choice Questions), group discussion and personal interview.

College Infrastructure

HPUBS have well developed infrastructure and provide all the facilities like computer lab, wifi equipped libraries, hostels for both boys and girls separately. Yes our university provides us friendly and safe environment.

Himachal Pradesh University Business School Summer Hill have well developed infrastructure and provides us all the facilities like wifi equipped department, drinking water facilities, and hostels for both boys and girls at very low price.

College Infrastructure

All the necessary infrastructure like huge campus separate buildings for each department is there . Hostel facility, 24*7 library is also there, sports ground , laboratories every facility is available. Classrooms have smartboards and wifi also. Living spaces are clean and food is also hygienic.
