Large number of students get placed every year at the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. The varsity invites a number of companies to its placements every year. The university has a placement cell that looks after the placement activities. PTU Jalandhar placement cell is called the Corporate Relations and Alumni Department (CR&A). To provide good placement opportunities to the students the university has tie-ups with many industrial associations. It has collaborations with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE Chandigarh), Jalandhar Management Association (JMA), etc. PTU Jalandhar placement cell prepares students for the placements by conducting seminars, workshops, mock interviews, etc. It acts as a bridge between companies and students.
