About IMS Unison University, Dehradun

IMS Unison University is a public state university established in 2013 under the IMS Unison University Uttarakhand Act No. 13 of 2013. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also known as IUU Dehradun. The varsity is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). IMS Unison University has a total of 96 faculty members and 1799 students are enrolled in it. As per the official website of the university, its vision is to create a dynamic, vibrant, cosmopolitan and technology driven academic environment. The university offers 29 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. Law courses of the varsity are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

It accepts CLAT/LSAT and CLAT PG scores for admission to B.B.A L.L.B (Hons)/B.A L.L.B (Hons) and L.L.M programmes, respectively. CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT scores are accepted for M.B.A. admission. IMS Unison University offers a large number of scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes students. To facilitate international exposure to students and faculty members, the university has collaboration with numerous overseas universities. The Career Services Cell (CSC) ensures students are provided with sufficient internship and placement opportunities. IMS Unison University Scholarships

The varsity provides equal opportunity to all students. Both UG and PG programmes students can apply for IMS Unison University scholarships. Students with exceptional academic record, students with sports achievements etc. can avail IMS Unison University scholarships. The university has special scholarships for girls students, wards of defence personnel, students from Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of our college is good. All facility is provided. Also canteen is there. College also provides well-equipped classrooms. There is no sports facility. There is no wi-fi. Library is also there.

The college is recommended.

College Infrastructure

The college campus is small but it has a very peaceful environment in it's surroundings. There are seperate buildings for different courses, such as different schools like school of management, school of law etc. Also the college provides hostel facilities to all the students.

Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Also there are places to eat and spend time with our friends. Also the food and beverage served is hygienic and tasty. There are two libraries in the campus. One main library and another one for law students.

Dear Student,

IMS Unison University, a constituent of Unison Education Foundation is a premier educational established under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.

The Journalism and Mass Communication program offered by the University is a three-year program spread over six semesters. It prepares students with the skills, knowledge and strategies which are essential for leadership in media anywhere in the world. It is designed to provide strong functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt and integrate those skills in different media settings. The program gives an opportunity to the students to excel in Print Journalism, Radio Journalism, Television Journalism, Creative Writing, Public Relations, Event Management, Corporate Communication etc. It also provides various skills and knowledge in diverse functional areas apart from providing the option to specialize in various functional disciplines in journalism. Students are also required to undergo an Internship Program in Media Industry.

Overall, I would say it is great institute for JMS (Journalism and Mass Communication). You can go for it. Rest is you decision. Choose wisely.
