Placement scenario has seen a massive improvement at IIEST Shibpur. Almost all the students who registered for placements got placed from computer science and engineering department. Multiple students were placed at each of the big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Direct, etc. Companies like Deustche Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Barclays Bank, PwC, etc. Have recruited students as well.
The highest offered package is 42 LPA, at IIEST SHIBPUR median being around 9 LPA. The internship scenario needs to improve, with around 15% students of 3rd Year getting internships.
