Like in government jobs , the cutoff goes very low for sc and St and in the entrance exam like jee and neet there are fixed seat for sc and St categories student . If you belong to such category and you work little hard then you can definitely do very great in your life .

In placements 2021, 63% of the batch was placed . The interim report of IIIT Trichy 2021 batch has been released. The highest CTC stood up to INR 19.5 LPA. The average CTC stood at INR 8.70 LPA.

Fees : 70,250 per semester

Facts about IIIT Trichy :

NIRF Ranking- Not Announced

Highest Package- 19 Lakh(2021)

Median Salary: 8.9 Lakh

Fees : 1,02,270  for general per semester

After looking on factors like Ranking, Placement and fees, IIIT Kancheepuram seems better choice than IIIT Trichy. However both are good Institutes but if you have to choose between these two, I would suggest you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram.

Seat allotment of Institute depends on factors like no. of seats available, category of student, home state of student, etc .You haven't mentioned your category. Assuming you belong to General category and your AIR is 20312. IIIT Trichy is a newly established IIIT. As of Now , there is no Placement stats of IIIT Trichy available as it's first batch will go to placement in 2021. I suggest you to go for NIT Patna because it is one of oldest NITs and also has good placement records.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority ( JoSAA ) will release the cutoff of JEE Main for IIIT Sri City on its official website. IIIT Sri City JEE Main Cutoff is the minimum rank required by the candidates to get admission in the B.Tech courses offered by the institute. The cutoff of JEE Main for IIIT Sri City will be released by the authorities after each round of counselling and will include both the opening and closing ranks.

First IIIT Sri City is now having a permanent campus of its own. Second , the coding culture of Sri City is better than that of kancheepuram. ... Also the average package at Sri City is 8+ lakh package.

75% minimum eligibility requirement in class XII for admission into IIITs has been scrapped for this year as well. Candidates who clear JEE Main 2021 will only need their 12th passing certificate for admissions, irrespective of the score obtained by them.
