IIIT Una: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una or IIIT Una was established in 2014. It provides a total of 4 full-time UG and PG programmes. Undergraduate courses offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una include B.Tech in CSE, ECE, and IT. and M.Tech courses are provided at the IIIT Una. Students who want to enroll in undergraduate programmes at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una, must take the JEE Main exam and participate in JOSAA counselling. Candidates who want to enroll in PG programmes must take the GATE. 

Additionally, the college includes a training and placement unit that ensures students receive job training. The students of IIIT Una are provided with a range of amenities, including a dorm, sports opportunities, and medical advice. The college provides B.Tech. degrees in a variety of specialisations, including electrical and communication engineering, information technology, and computer science and engineering. Only computer science and engineering is available as M.Tech degrees at IIIT Una. The only full-time modality is available for all IIIT Una Courses.

IIIT Una Admissions 

The college provides admission to UG programmes based on JEE Mains performance and to PG programmes through GATE. In addition to an interview, some PG slots are filled based on the applicant's academic performance. Admissions to the IIIT Una Ph.D. programme are based on a student's academic record, performance on the written test, the ability for doing research, and personal interview.

IIIT Una Cutoff 

To get admission in the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Una UG courses the candidate needs to score at or above JEE Main cutoff.  For the PG courses, the students need to score at or more than the GATE cutoff. The cutoff is different for different categories. According to the statistics in 2022 for ST candidates, the closing rank is 221722 in B.Tech in CSE course whereas for the general category, the closing rank in the same programme is 28234.
