IIM Jammu Facilities

IIM Jammu offers enough space for everyone, including students and faculty, to engage in extracurricular activities or hobbies. IIM Jammu facilities include a hostel section, auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, and various labs, as well as other institute-provided amenities. All institute members have access to a 24-hour health service that can be reached at any time during an emergency. The students must understand all of the requirements to gain access to all of the IIM Jammu facilities. In addition, each faculty and office room has a dedicated LAN connection on the Institute's network, allowing them to access internet services at any time. The Mess, Bank, and Security Blocks all have wireless access. Indian Institute of Management Jammu facilities are given below:

Boys Hostel
The hostel facility is separate for both boys and girls. Each hostel section is connected with wifi and has all the necessary services that students need within a living sphere.
Girls Hostel
The hostel facility is separate for both boys and girls. Each hostel section is connected with wifi and has all the necessary services that students need within a living sphere.
Library
The IIM Jammu Library serves as a learning resource centre for the academic community. The library's goal is to provide patrons with adequate and user-friendly access to current and relevant content. The Library has a large selection of printed and electronic media, including books, magazines, and other materials. Elsevier Science Direct, Emerald Management E-Journals, EBSCO Business Source Complete, and indiastat.com are among the electronic services that the library subscribes to. For its housekeeping activities, the IIMJ Library is a completely computerised library that uses the Open Source Software KOHA-LMS.
Sports
The IIM Jammu tried its best to provide an atmosphere where students can execute their hobbies, activities, etc. Various sports facilities, including equipment and coaches, are available for all the students enrolled in the institute.
I.T Infrastructure
The IIM Jammu Computer Centre has a computer network of over 500 devices that is fast and secure. Internet leased line connectivity ranges from 40Mbps to 1 GBps at the Institute. Each faculty member and office supported faculty blocks has a dedicated LAN connection to the Institute's network, enabling them to access internet resources at any time.
Cafeteria
The University has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Wifi
The University has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
Classrooms
Three classrooms has a seating capacity of 100 students and has two projectors and an audio system. Each classroom is air-conditioned and equipped with all of the requisite research equipment for the programme.
Gym
It provides all equipment and facilities required for the physical fitness of students.

College Infrastructure

As we are currently living in our old campus, the infrastructure is average - we have good infrastructure of classrooms and campus surroundings but when it comes to hostel, library and sports we lack a lot. But we are confident that once we go to our permanent campus things change. The food is very suitable for everyone with wide varities and hygiene but there's issue with the cost as the mess bill here is very high.

College Infrastructure

The college has all the facilities that students require, including digital classrooms and classrooms designed in the Harvard style. and the facilities of the hostel are also quite good, particularly the single-person accommodations.

College Infrastructure

The main campus of IIM Jammu which is located in Jagti, Jammu is not fully constructed and only MBA students stay there however IPM students stay in Canal Road Campus, Jammu. In Jagti, for MBA individual rooms are available with ACs however in CRC there are 3 to 4 girls allocated for one room. Wi-fi is provided 24/7 with optimism speed.

It is well said , " Scope means not the height career had achieved, it means the height to which you can make your career reach. "

If you are interested in public services and want to help others, you can go for MBBS.

If you are interested in corporate job, entrepreneurship, business and more, go for BBA AND MBA.

Both fields are very good. If you still have confusion, go for career counselling test online or offline. You can also talk to your teachers and parents.

If you don't want to do either, write down your thoughts mentioning what you don't want to do, you will automatically know what to do.

can other state student like madhypradesh student can give the exam of. iim jammu,iim gya, other state iim ipmat exam.

Hi Sachin,

Yes other states student gives the IPMAT exam. So you can give the IPMAT exam. Some restrictions are also there like IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak reserve all rights to decide the eligibility conditions for the exam.

Also, no intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected for the final offer. Eligibility criteria are Minimum 60% in Standard SSC and HSC. And m aximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2019

with 77 percentile in cat and ews category and 91.2/83/75 in academics. chances of converting iim jammu?

Hello student

77 percentile in CAT and as you are belongs to EWS category as your choice of course in IIM Jammu which was established in the year of 2016 restricted by the IIM, Lucknow, you have chance to get admission in MBA courses.

To get chance in IIM Jammu the CAT percentile is needed 75% at least.
