About Cutoff at IIM Lucknow

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) releases the cutoff on the basis of CAT result on its official website - iiml.ac.in. IIM Lucknow releases the minimum sectional and overall CAT cutoff for shortlisting candidates for the WAT and PI rounds of admission process. Candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the further stages of the selection process of IIM Lucknow.

IIM Lucknow Selection Criteria 2023

IIM Lucknow releases the criteria for shortlisting and final selection for admission to its various PGP programmes. The admission process of IIM Lucknow is conducted in two stages. The first stage is shortlisting stage wherein candidates are selected for next rounds of admission based on their CAT scores. The second stage is WAT and PI wherein candidates are tested on their writing ability and personality required for pursuing management programmes offered by the IIM, Lucknow. In addition to this, as mentioned below, the table has the final merit list preparation components.

Excellent in terms of infrastructure, facilities and equipment, gym , eateries , stationary shop, daily needs shop, well maintained hostels, library , sports centers and laboratories present on campus.

The infrastructure is brilliant with an amazing library, sports infrastructure, hostels, internet etc. The food provided in the mess is one of the best among all institutions in India. New developments keep happening.

College Infrastructure

It has all the necessary infrastructure, classrooms, sports centres, hostels, computer centres, library, etc. These facilities are well used but can be improved further by maintenance. Although comparing it with other MBA Colleges, it still is very good.

I've got 75% in 10th 87% in 12th & 75% in degree (B.sc) probably if i can expect a call from iim Lucknow 90%ile in cat

See, your academics are the most problematic things, as with 75%, 87% in schooling (10th and 12th), and 75% in your graduation, you are in quite disadvantageous position. And since you are in B.Sc, you'll be counted in the same bucket as engineers, you you'll get no diversity points as well.

The best thing will be that you re-attempt CAT after getting some work experience, because workex is the only thing which can counter all the negative things in your CV. All the best!

Should I go for a PGPM in MDI Gurgaon or for IIM L ABM?

Hi,

Both MDI Gurgaon and IIM Lucknow are top tier B-Schools of India and getting an oppurtunity to study in any of them is a blessing in disguise. However there are few differences in the courses we must consider:

Course details:

PGPM in MDI Gurgaon- PGPM Course is designed to nurture students and help build their managerial and leadership qualities. This programme helps understand social, economic, political and ecological environment of modern society. It helps students become leaders and think out of the box.
ABM in IIM Lucknow- The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management is a full -time residential course designed to develop agribusiness leaders, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs with vision, competence and appropriate attitude for promoting/ growing agribusiness and agro-based enterprises with a strong international orientation.

Think about your priorities clearly. If you want to contribute to the agro industries then definitely you should pursue ABM course. Else you can go for PGPM course.

How many seats are there in IIM Lucknow ABM program?

Hi,

IIM Lucknow's PGP- Agribusiness Management (ABM) is a two year full time residential course. The course has a seat capacity which changes every year. But overall the seat capacity is close to 55.
