IIM Rohtak: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak was established in 2009 under the IIM Act of 2017 and was designated as an Institute of National Importance by the MHRD. IIM Rohtak has secured 12th rank in the management category of NIRF Ranking 2023. The IIM Rohtak offers a 2-year PG programme in management. The admissions are offered based on the CAT Score and performance of the candidates in the Personal Interview. The institute also offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management and an Executive PG diploma programme. The IIM Rohtak is known for its special PG diploma programme offered in the field of Sports management. There are doctoral programmes and Part-time fellowship Management programmes offered by the institute.

The mission of the IIM Rohtak is to impart education in management with a unique cross-functional perspective to prepare future HR, Sales and Marketing professionals. The college is quite flexible with providing world-class education owing to its recently launched long duration and short duration programmes apart from the regular ones. The college offers a total of 7 programmes. Indian Institute of Management Rohtak course list consists of 2 undergraduate, 4 postgraduate and 1 doctoral programme. IIM Rohtak Admissions

The institute offers admission to various UG, PG and doctoral courses. Indian Institute of Management Rohtak admissions are done based on candidates’ performance in various national-level entrance exam or state-level entrance examinations. Further, students have to appear for a personal interview round for some courses. Final IIM Rohtak admission will be done after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment process.

InQUIZire club at IIM Rohtak organised "Biz-topia The Business Quiz" under Dare2Compete OQF-online quizzing festival on 5th March. Participation certificates were given to all.

• Interactive session on leader’s inclusivity

Mr. Sunil Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at AGS Transact Technologies Ltd., conducted an interactive session on the multidimensional aspect of leadership. He also talked about the differences in working for a startup as compared to a well-established MNC wherein the targets are more ambitious and life is hectic in a startup. He also guided students by outlining the expectations of different specialisations in an MBA given the skills and characteristics.

Mr. N. R. Narayana Murthy, the Co-founder & ex-Chairman Emeritus of Infosys took the final session of The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Council's E-Talks series in IIM Rohtak where he talked about the challenges faced by tech companies today, the importance of employment generation and entrepreneurial spirit and concluded by stressing on commitment towards one's principles and morals to become a future leader.

Indian Institute of Management Rohtak Facilities

The college has a large number of facilities for its students, staff and faculty members. For the convenience of students, the infrastructure at the campus is modern and upgraded. IIM Rohtak facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, a gym and many more. The institute has facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports that helps the students to get involved in some physical activities. IIM Rohtak also has a modern auditorium for seminars and other events. IIM Rohtak scholarships

Scholarships at IIM Rohtak are granted based on the academic performance of the students. Ph.D scholars are offered financial assistance in the form of scholarships or fellowship grants to pursue their studies. They can avail of this scholarship for the entire duration of their programme with different amounts allotted each year. Eligible candidates receive a merit Fellowship based on their success in the second, third, and fourth year. Contingency Grants are given across the four years of the doctoral programme. IIM Rohtak also grants allowances to scholars attending national or/and international conferences and academic exchange visits. To promote the spirit of sportsmanship, IIM Rohtak shortlists students from the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management. Scholarships in the Sports Management programme are offered to the candidates who have been chosen or participated in sports events at different levels at the national or international level such as Commonwealth, Asian or Olympic events.

The college has a placement office that look after the placement of students. IIM Rohtak Location

The college is located at Management City Southern Bypass, Sunaria, Rohtak, Haryana. The Rohtak Railway Junction is 8.3 kilometres away from the institution, and it takes 19 minutes to reach the campus through the Bhiwani-Rohtak road. Indira Gandhi International Airport is 79 kilometres away from the campus, and it takes two hours to reach the airport. Rohtak bus station is 16 km away from the campus and is 24 minutes away. Students can use cabs or buses as modes of transport for short distances.
