Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam Placement Process 2024

The Career Development Services (CDS) Office and the Student Placement Committee oversee the recruitment process at the Institute.
Then, Pre-placement talks are conducted in which opportunities are provided to the students and companies to interact and exchange information.
Based on the company presentation and their individual interest levels, students can apply.
Companies are requested to send shortlists to the CDS Office at least one week prior to the commencement of final placement interviews. During their visit to the campus, companies interview the shortlisted candidates and extend job offers to those selected.
After the interviews, companies extend employment offers. The Institute's Placement Policy determines whether or not students accept the offers. Within two weeks of the interview date, a formal offer letter may be mailed to the CDS Office.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that all the IIMs only accept CAT score. APICET score or any other entrance exam is not accepted by any of the IIMs. You need to clear the CAT cutoffs to get admission into any of the IIM. I hope you found this answer helpful. Hello aspirant,

Admission in IIMs are dependent upon different criteria while the most important and the thing which carries the most weightage is the CAT scores, For admission in Different IIMs there are different cutoffs while some go upto 99-100 percentile others go up to 80-85 also, it depends on caste and category aswell, other than that in top IIMs you will be able to get admission on the basis of GD scores, PI scores, experience scores, 10th, 12th and graduate percentages etc.

I am a CAT aspirant & have appeared for CAT, XAT,& SNAP & scored 90%ile. With acads 10th-7.4CGPA, 12th-82% & in graduation(2018)-64% with no work experience due to family problem. Would I able to secure a seat in good college? I have been shortlisted for TAPMI, FORE, IIMV for round one till now.

its true that iims and some of other top ranked institute shortlisted candidates as per their academic record and cat or any other management aptitude test score. see right now which of institute name you have mentioned is also comes under tier 1 college. now you need to focus on your presentation skills, communication approach to get shortlisted in final rounds. so keep calm and focus on your goal, I think you will surely crack it.
