The institute offers courses at three levels- undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. IISc Bangalore courses are offered in the following streams: Management and Business Administration, Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Computer Application and IT, Animation and Design, Medicine and Allied Sciences. IISc Bangalore UG courses are B.Sc. Research in Biology, B.Sc. Research in Chemistry, B.Sc. Research in Mathematics etc. The minimum eligibility criteria for IISc Bangalore UG courses is that students must have passed II PUC/12th standard examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as main subjects obtaining a minimum of 60% marks. Some of the IISc Bangalore PG courses are M.Tech, M.Des Product Design and Engineering etc. The institute also Ph.D. programmes in various specialisations. A total of 93 courses are offered by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore out of which 6 are undergraduate courses, 56 postgraduate courses and 31 are Ph.D. programmes.
