Good infrastructure non ac campus. There is free wifi which can be used by students and this college has two well- constructed canteens. Food is very good and hygienic. Labs are with good maintainance.

College Infrastructure
Our college has all the necessary facilities. But, personally I think that the architecture and design of the buildings is a little outdated. We have wi-fi all over the campus and projectors in almost every classroom. Taste of the mess food is not that good.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the ancient and well-established branches in IIT Roorkee. The placement in mechanical is more than 72% with the rest of the population choosing for higher studies, CAT and UPSC. The average package in Mechanical Engineering is more than 10 Lacs.

No,there is o ragging incident now in Kharagpur IIT campus or in the hostel of Kharagpur IIT.Acvording to the Supreme Court order any incident of ragging will be treated as illegal and authority is bound to report to the police immediately.
