Infrastructure of my college is amazing. All the classroom are equipped with good quality desks and air conditioning. The central library is very big and has many books and also has AC. It's a good place. Beautiful campus with all the high tech facilities. IIT Madras is a place which gives students the rich and valuable exposure to multiple avenues related to academics, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Each student discovers their true interests and passion and pursues the same. Much of the campus is a protected forest, carved out of the Guindy National Park, home to many animals that are not commonly seen in a busy city like Chennai.

According to the Q.S. World University Rankings of 2022 IIT, Madras was ranked 255. IIT Madras recently announced that it will offer its computer science courses online and free to all. The Computer Science courses are Introduction to Programming, Data Structures, Foundations of Computer System Design, Compiler Design, Paradigms of Programming, Languages, Machines, and Computation, and Object Oriented Lab.
