IIT Palakkad has Career Development Cell (CDC) which assists in providing placement and training processes for its students. The CDC organises periodic aptitude and assessment tests and guides students with resume and interview preparation. The CDC also focuses on industry collaborations to help students with placement opportunities by providing workshops, industry visits, seminars and Career Oriented Sessions. The CDC also organises Pre-placement talks, tests and personal interviews for the students to be conducted by recruiters.
