The annual report of the Career Development Centre at IIT Tirupati for 2021-2022 shows that the average package offered was 15.54 lakh per annum (LPA). More than 140 companies participated, and 211 offers were made. There was an overall placement rate of 90% and a 95 % placement rate was achieved by students in the B.Tech program

According to the Career Development Centre, IIT Tirupati annual report, approximately 140 companies participated in the campus recruitment of IIT Tirupati in 2021-2022. Among the notable recruiters were Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Jio, ICICI Bank, Capgemini, Cognizant, Texas Instruments, and many others. In terms of domain-wise placements, information technology came out on top with 38.89%.

According to IIT Tirupati's Career Development Centre annual report for 2021-2022, the highest package is for the B.Tech (CSE), which is Rs. 69.45 lakhs per annum (LPA). Regarding specialization-wise B.Tech packages, the highest package offered is Rs.30 LPA for B.Tech (CE). Those studying B.Tech (CH) and B.Tech (ME) were offered a salary of Rs. 25 LPA, while those studying B.Tech (EE) were offered a salary of Rs.22.21 LPA. For M.Tech program, the highest package offered is Rs.21 LPA, while for M.Sc, it is 20 LPA.

Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati offers placement assistance through its Career Development Centre (CDC). Each year, placements are conducted for the final year students at IIT Tirupati. Pre-placement offers are also given to students based on their internships or training programmes at the company. When applying for admission to IIT Tirupati, the following documents are necessary.

• Entrance exam score card

The following are the requirements for IIT Tirupati's Ph.D programme.

• A candidate is required to hold a Master's degree in the relevant field.

• Candidates with a master's degree in science should have a valid GATE score or an equivalent from the UGC, CSIR-NET, or NBHM.

• Direct admission to doctoral programmes is available to Centrally Funded Technical Institute General candidates with an overall CGPA of 8, an OBC-NCL CGPA of 7.5, and an SC/ST CGPA of 7.

The MS program at IIT, Tirupati requires candidates to meet the required eligibility criteria. Once the eligibility criteria are met, candidates have to appear for GATE and get a valid score. Upon receiving the valid score, candidates must fill out the applicable application form. The candidates will be invited for a test or interview and will be selected based on their marks and interview and  or test performance. The selected candidates must then submit the required documents and pay the fees.
