Aspirants must submit their application form
Aspirants have to appear for JEE Mains entrance examination.
Students must meet the cutoff range to qualify for the entrance examination.
Aspirants shortlisted in the entrance examination have to further appear for the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) conducted by DTU, NSIT, IIITD & IGDTUW.

2: What is the basic eligibility criteria to pursue BTech offered by IGDTUW Delhi?

Writing a test or taking an entrance exam is the first step in getting accepted to IGDTUW Delhi for B Tech. Candidates must take both the JEE Main and JEE Main (Paper 2) exams, and joint admission counseling will be used to process admissions. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English at the 10+2 level and have successfully completed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 60% overall.

For admissions to the 6-year Dual Degree BTech-Mechanical and Automation Engineering + MBA Programs of IGDTUW against a few open seats due to withdrawal, a special spot round of counseling will be held. Both new applicants (by paying the registration cost of Rs. 1500/-) and girl candidates who had already enrolled for JAC-2021 but were unable to acquire a place at IGDTUW are eligible for the counseling. The admissions will be conducted on the basis of the merit of JEE (Mains) Paper 1.

Yes, you can get into IGDTUW with a 95 percentile. Admission into IGDTUW is based on All India Rank in JEE Main and the admission will be done through Joint Admission Counselling.

Academics

The quality of teaching is quite good. The curriculum needs to be updated as it does not include recent developments and needs changes. The faculties are helpful and some of them even provide extra doubt sessions. Proper guidance is provided to each students in their academics.

I have scored 57 percentage in 12 cbse board.I want to take admission in igdtuw. can I give jee mains 2024.

Hello Aspirant,

If you have got 57 percentage in boards in your 12th then you are not eligible to get into NITs/IITs as the minimum percentage that you need to secure is 75% and not below that.

However you can take admission in igdtuw through joint admission counseling along with NSUT(Netaji Subash University Technology, DTU(Delhi Technological University) and few more colleges.

But the cut offs depends on certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.

I have doubt, is it necessary to have computer science as a subject in 12th for admission in IGDTUW, NSUT and DTU?

Hey,

For admission IGDTUW, Delhi, DTU and NSUT, you need to attempt JEE Mains examination and as per the revised JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022, 75% of criteria is removed. For NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission, Candidates just need to pass class 12 irrespective of percentage. So u just need to pass class 12th from science background and their is no any such requirement of Computer as a subject for attempting JEE Mains.

Admission there will be based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.

I have completed 12th in 2022,but I am not prepared for jee main in 2022,so if I give jee main directly in 2023 without appearing in 2022 can I will be eligible for admission in JAC delhi colleges IGDTUW or NSUT or DTU?

Dear Smriti,

The eligibility for jee advance is maximum of 2 attempts 1st with appearing year of 12th and the 2nd is next following year(two consecutive years). Whereas for jee main a candidate have maximum of 6 attempts in 3 consecutive years.

To be eligible for JAC counselling for DTU, IGDTUW, and NSUT candidate must have a valid jee main scores. So there's no doubt that with appearing year 2022 in 12th you will be eligible for jee main as well as jee advance in year 2023.
