About IGNOU

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in New Delhi was established in 1985. IGNOU New Delhi is a government-owned co-ed university. IGNOU New Delhi has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has been accredited by NAAC and has received an ‘A++’ grade. IGNOU New Delhi courses are offered at four levels. These are the diploma, UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels. The IGNOU courses are available in distance and online study modes. The candidates should meet the IGNOU eligibility criteria. The IGNOU admissions are offered based on merit in the qualifying examination as well as marks obtained in entrance examinations.

IGNOU fees depend on the course chosen by the candidate. IGNOU Delhi provides many facilities for its students, staff and faculty on campus. IGNOU facilities also include a library, auditorium, medical aid, and many other facilities. The university has a separate placement cell on campus that handles all the placement activities. IGNOU New Delhi placement cell organises placement drives and invites top recruiters for the drive. The students of the university can avail themselves of scholarships. The IGNOU scholarships are offered by the UGC and the central government.

My college have all the necessary facilities like labs, classroom, smart classes, library, ground, canteen, wifi and transport. All these things are used and well maintained. They always try to maintain clean environment.

Overall good University for distance learning.

IGNOU University has a well-developed infrastructure to support its distance-learning education. Since it is an open-learning University there is no classroom facilities available . IGNOU has online learning platform, eGyanKosh, which offers students a variety of digital resources, including self-learning materials, video lectures, and interactive exercises. Since I am enrolled in Online Distance Learning, I dont need to go to my college. I just have to submit my assignemt and give exams in my study centre, which we can choose from options available and the study centre alloted to us have all the facilities of sports, library and also classrooms are clean.

I hope you are doing well and absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query, if yoh have not given the CUET exam , still you have a chance to get admission in IGNOU. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates with a Bachelor's degree with 50% in the basic class and 45% in the reserved class are eligible to enter the programme without taking an entrance exam.
