MAHE, Manipal - B.Tech Admissions 2024
ApplyAmongst Top 5 Private Engineering Institutes in India
Hello Gopal !!
IIIT HYDERABAD is not an government institution. So, it does not offer admission in it through JOSAA Counselling.
There is an exam for which must be cleared for getting a chance to get admission in IIIT H. It is UGEE. You need to apply for it and write the examination. You need to clear that exam and even after that there is an interview round for all the students who have cleared it.
Even through JEE MAINS we can seek for admission in it. But. you must get around 99.8 percentile to get eligible for the interview round. So, you can not get into it through JEE MAIN.
Please apply for UGEE and clear it if you want to go to IIIT H.
All the very best.
Dear parents,
All three colleges are best. Now it all depend on the interest of your son.
CS in IIT Hyderabad is good. They have good faculty and placement scenario.
If your son choose this course then he have to do Btech with Mtech in 5 years which is good.
Now moving toward NIT. AI in NIT is good but not so popular in today's placement scenario. If he want to pursue higher degree on AI then he can choose. And also after IIT , NIT tag is valuable but in placement situation, it not so good.
And at last CS in BITS Goa. I will say don't take BITS Goa. If your son get BITS Pilani then it will consider best.
So, as per my suggestion, for getting good placement - IIIT Hyderabad and for pursue higher studies - NIT Surathkal
Thank You
Hello,
No, IIIT Hyderabad does not have Btech in Food Technology.
IIIT Hyderabad have only two Btech courses. One is BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and another one is BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) .

JEE Main candidates:
Class 12 with an average of 60% in PCM
SPEC candidates:
PCM in Class 12 with the following:
- Eligible for the UDAAN programme (CBSE)
- At least completed classes 11 and 12 at a JNV.
- Enrolled in the fourth semester of an integrated, six-year, Class 12+ BTech programme following Class 10
Thank You
Hello,
You scored a very good rank in jee mains but you cannot go to an IIT with jee mains, you have to qualify jee advanced examination for admission to IITs. And if your specified rank is of JEE advanced, then there are very less chances of getting an IIT with 10,000 rank, as the closing rank for IIT Hyderabad is around 2k. For more information regarding college where you can take admission, check the below link:

For jee advanced:
All the best
IIT Hyderabad is a difficult place to get into as it is one of the top IIT colleges and is a very demanded colleges as well. If you are going for CS program than your rank should come under 1000 as the opening and closing ranks expected this year are 360 - 998 respectively. And if you are going for any other program then the expected ranks are between 870 - 3000. All the best.

Greetings!
Respected sir, IIIT H has no reservations whatsoever on any basis.
Now coming to comparison part, yes IIIT H equal is equal to HCU, in fact I would personally place it over HCU, IIIT H has a distinct brand value in the market, that is rarely matched by any institution in India.
To explore more options for you rank you can use following tool

Greetings!
Mam, I would have to inform you that there are no cast based reservations in IIIT H. Therefore admission will be completely based on your CRL
According to my estimate I don't feel you will be having appropriate CRL to make into IIIT H
But don't lose hopes there are many colleges that have reservations and you have chances in it

Hello Aspirant
IIIT Hyderabad is better than IIT Indore.
In terms of reputation, academic quality, and competitive factors, IIIT Hyderabad is better. Additionally, IIIT Hyderabad's syllabus has been updated.
More students are chosen for GSOC each year and receive higher packages. Companies prefer IIIT Hyderabad.
IIT Indore will surely provide you IIT tag, but not better opportunities for your career.
Thanks
