Dear Applicant
If you consider the admission possibilities JU is one of the best choices, and admission into that campus is indeed strict. So yes with 11825 GMR and 983 merit rank for Obc-b category, you can expect branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Printing Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Processing Engineering etc branches. However it is just a prediction, you can get a better perception once you get the after counselling seat matrix.
Good luck!!!
Dear aspirant!
Hope you are doing well!
Jadavpur University is the best to pursue BSc in mathematics Honours without any doubt . The classes are assured regularly and rigorous for those who desire to have a future in mathematics; there should be no doubt in selecting JU.
Jadavpur University does not conduct any entrance test for its B.Sc courses(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology and Geography). Admission into these streams in purely on the basis of your +2 board exam merit ..
hope it helps you!!
thanks

Greetings!
Firstly congratulations! you have got really good colleges! Now coming to comparison
Now there are some factors you need to consider, first and foremost is if you are getting better branch in any of these two, just go for it, no need to see further comparison at all, now considering you have same branches in both let's proceed forward.
The final decision has to be taken by you, I would leave you with pros and cons, and believe me there isn't much difference in both of them, the main differences mainly form the fact that one is state funded and other is national funded.
Now Jadavpur has some really good advantages, firstly it is way cheaper than any NIT/IIT you can almost say that four year degree in Jadavpur is for free! Secondly Jadavpur is an older university when compared to NIT Warangal, in fact it is one of the oldest ones in India!
Research and Placements for both are going to be almost same.
But Enough of pros of Jadavpur, let's come to cons, firstly Jadavpur has very bad infrastructure when compared to NIT warangal, so if you were coming for sky high buildings with best cleanliness, I would suggest you to keep your expectations a bit low. Secondly in recent years Jadavpur is suffering from funding problems, and it is not hidden from anyone, now I am not saying that it is going to collapse or something but yes that is a factor to consider.
Overall I would say if you want to save money and have complete freedom in life go for Jadavpur, however if you want to enjoy your college life and be part of clubs and chapters than I would suggest NIT warangle, that is the only call you have to make, for placements you can be rest assured that you aren't going to regret any of these two
It has big spacious classrooms with Air condition, the campus is huge with big playgrounds which helps. The canteens provide good food at cheap rates. We have OAT from holding cultural events which is huge
yes.. my college has very good infrastructure for academics. There are sufficient laboratory equipments & study materials for us. Classroom facilities, libraries & sports faculties are very good. All things are well maintained.
Infrastructures are pretty decent. But needs to be kept maintained. Every necessary thing is there in the campus and the professors and administration are ready to listen and onboard any necessary equipments needed.
