Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) is a Five and a half years, including one year compulsory unpaid rotatory internship (6 months in Majeedia Unani Hospital and 6 months in HAH Centenary Hospital offered by Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent there to securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate as in Physics, Chemistry and Biology; appeared in NEET (for MBBS Programme); Proficiency in Urdu language comparable to High School (Class X) standard and knowledge of English; Medium of instruction of this programme is Urdu language substantiated with English.

Admission Details

On the basis of merit through NEET for MBBS from amongst the candidates who apply for BUMS admission in Jamia Hamdard. Such candidates are required to submit their high school certificate of Urdu / Arabic or Persian language as a subject along with their application on online admission portal of BUMS program on University website. The candidates who will not submit such certificates will be required to appear in the test of Urdu Language conducted by Jamia Hamdard. Other Urdu certificates like Adeeb, Munshi, Molvi etc are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good and everything which is requirement is available in this college.overall college is looking very outstanding and look like royal house.our college has proper playground and green environment and also has canteen which provides hygienic food . overall environment is clean and hygienic.

College Infrastructure

Well equipped classes with best facilities like moot courts, hospital with all major health facilities and fully WiFi campus. The campus is clean and green beating the pollution of the city. The classes are Air-conditioned. It has a central library and has a vast collection of books. There are 4 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel which have both AC & Non-AC rooms.
