Every year a large number of reputed companies are invited to participate in the campus placements of the university. The job of inviting companies and providing job opportunities to students lies in the hands of Jamia Hamdard University placement cell. Right from the first year, the placement cell provides career counselling to the students. This helps them in choosing the right career path and getting a job at Jamia Hamdard University Delhi placements. The students are trained under the guidance of the placement cell. To participate in the placement drives conducted at the campus, students need to register themselves for Jamia Hamdard University placements by paying the placement registration fee.
As per Jamia Hamdard University Delhi NIRF report 2019-20, a large number of students of UG and PG courses got placed. 624 UG 4-year programmes students were eligible for Jamia Hamdard University placements 2019-20, out of which 158 students got placed with a median salary of Rs. 3,50,000 per annum and 129 students chose to pursue higher studies.

There were 624 UG 4-year programme students who qualified for Jamia Hamdard University placements in 2019–20; 158 of them were placed with an average income of Rs. 3,50,00 per year, while 129 of them decided to continue their education.
The varsity gives admission in diploma, UG, PG and doctoral courses. Admission in diploma courses is offered on a merit basis. For admission in B.P.T., B.O.T., B.U.M.S., B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharma programmes candidates need to appear for NEET. JEE Main Paper 1 score is also considered for B.Pharma admission. Jamia Hamdard University admission to M.D. The course is done based on the AIAPGET score. The university accepts CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores for admission in the M.B.A. programme.
