JMI Admission 2023-24: The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will soon release the JMI answer key 2023 for various UG and PG programmes. The University is conducting the JMI admission test 2023 from April 15 to May 21. The JMI entrance exam is being conducted in offline mode. Candidates have to fill out and submit the JMI application form before the deadline. Candidates who pass the JMI entrance test in 2023 are enrolled in a variety of UG and PG programmes provided by the various arts, science, and commerce streams. The JMI admission for 10 UG courses such as BA Hons History, BVoc Solar Energy and BSc Biotechnology through CUET 2023. 

The candidates who manage to pass the JMI entrance exam are required to fulfil the Jamia Millia Islamia counselling procedure before fixing a seat for the JMI admission 2023.

JMI Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must check the JMI eligibility criteria before applying for the courses online. They must know which courses fulfil the JMI 2023 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of JMI  is the minimum requirement led down by the university for candidates. JMI Application Form 

The university has closed the JMI 2023 application form for UG courses on April 12, 2023. The first and foremost step to apply for admission is to register online and fill out the JJMI Application Form 2023. Candidates must make sure that they fill all the details in their JMI 2023 application form correctly. Any discrepancy in the JMI 2023 application form and actual facts will result in the rejection.

Steps to Fill the JMI Application Form

Step 1 - Registration

• Visit the official website of JMI.

• Click the 'Register' button.

• Fill out the registration form by providing your email address and cell phone number.

• The university will send an email with the Unique CODE and a link to authenticate the email account, as well as a login (email ID) and password to the registered email id.

• Applicants can go into the site and fill out the application form after successfully verifying the link and using their login ID and password.

Step 2 - Fill up the application form

• Log in using your login information.

• Fill out the application form with your personal, academic, and contact information.

• Click the 'Submit and pay' button.

Step 3 - Uploading the documents

• Upload a scanned image of the candidate's coloured passport-size photo with a white background (maximum 100 KB)

• Please submit a scanned image of the candidate's signature (maximum of 100 KB).

• The documents you upload must be in the correct format.

Step 4 - Pay the application fee

• To proceed with the payment, select the 'Pay' option.

• Select a payment method.

• Pay the JMI application fee with a debit card, a credit card, or through net banking.

• Candidates can also pay with a demand draught made out to "The Registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia" and payable in New Delhi.

After successfully filling out the JMI 2023 application form, candidates will be required to pay the fee. The JMI application fee can be paid online via Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Net banking/Demand Draft. The JMI application fee differs from course to course. JMI Exam Centres 2023

The applicants are allowed to select the JMI exam centres 2023 while filling out their application form. Candidates were required to carry the admit card and a valid photo ID to the JMI 2023 exam centre on the day of examination inside the hall. The university also holds the right to change the JMI Exam Centres 2023, if the number of applicants is less than 100 in any exam centre. The allotted JMI exam centre can be checked by the candidates along with the exam timings and the exam centre address on the admit card.

JMI Admit Card 2023

The university issued the JMI 2023 admit card on April 10 at jmi.ac.in in online mode. Only the candidates who successfully paid the fee for their application forms are allotted the JMI admit card 2023. Candidates can download their hall ticket for JMI 2023 by entering the login credentials in the login dialogue box. It must be noted that candidates should check the details mentioned in their JMI 2023 admit card carefully. Any discrepancy in the admit card of JMI 2023 must be reported to the authorities. Candidates must not forget to carry their JMI admit card 2023 to the exam centre. The absence of any JMI Admit Card 2023 will result in the cancellation of the aspirant’s candidature.

JMI Result 2023

The university will declare the JMI 2023 result in the online mode at its official website. Candidates must visit the JMI admission portal and input their login credentials to view the JMI result 2023. After receiving the results, candidates must check the JMI selection list to determine if their names are on the list for the counselling round. If their names do not appear on the JMI Result 2023, they can wait for the next selection list.

JMI Cut Off 2023

Jamia Millia Islamia will release the JMI 2023 cutoff, as well as the result and selection list in an online mode. Candidates who have appeared in the JMI 2023 admission test can check the JMI cut off 2023 by visiting the Jamia Millia Islamia official website. The JMI 2023 cut-off varies depending on the candidate's category and programme. The cutoff is determined by the institution based on the candidate's performance in the JMI entrance exam. To participate in the next round of JMI admissions, candidates must score the same or higher than the JMI Cut Off 2023.

The university will release the JMI 2023 selection list for applicants who have passed the JMI 2023 entrance exam. The JMI 2023 selection list has been issued per category. JMI Counselling 2023

The Jamia Millia Islamia Counselling 2023 will be held to allocate places to candidates who have completed the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam (JMIEEE). Only those candidates whose names appear on the cutoff list are eligible to participate in the JMI 2023 counselling. The Jamia Millia Islamia campus will host the JMI Counselling 2023. The JMI 2023 counselling is the final screening procedure for JMI admissions 2023.

• Character certificate

• Admit card

• Certificate of disability for the candidates who are appearing in the PwD category

• Proof of passing the qualifying examination together with the marks sheet in accordance with the eligibility requirements for admission.

• Proof of age based on the certificate of High School/Secondary School or an equivalent examination

• Category certificate for Muslim ST and Muslim OBC candidates

• Certificate from an MBBS doctor certifying the blood group.

• Scorecard of JEE Main 2023 and NEET 2023 for admission in B.Tech, M.A. Ansari Health Centre, JMI. B.Arch and BDS Programme respectively

• Affidavit for not indulging in the ragging practice

• State domicile certificate for the candidates belonging from the Jammu and Kashmir

• A certificate/ Affidavit from Class1 Gazetted Officer/Notary Public (in case of any gap)

• Proof of permanent address with the name of the nearest police station and the district.

JMI Admission 2023 - Reasons for cancelled admission

• A candidate may be denied admission if he or she is unable to show the most recent qualifying examination certificate or previous qualification certificate.

• Candidates from the reserved category must provide supporting documentation at the time of admission.

• If an applicant fails to pay the JMI entrance fee within the time frame specified, his or her seat will be frozen.

• If any information provided by the candidate is proven to be erroneous, or if a candidate has been wrongfully admitted for any reason, this can be corrected at any time.

• Anyone discovered engaging in malpractice or unfair activities during the JMI entrance exam 2023 would be barred from taking the exam.

JMI Reservation 2023

For students in the reserved category, the university has a reservation policy. According to the JMI 2023 reservation policy, if there are insufficient candidates in the PwD category, the remaining seats will be shifted to the general category. JMI sets aside 10% of seats for Muslim OBC and Muslim ST candidates. If the required number of applicants in the Muslim Women and Muslim ST/SC categories is not present, the seats would be shifted to the Muslim category.
