JECRC University, Jaipur Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

Candidates are offered a total of 106 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels for Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University admissions. Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University admissions are offered in the following branches: English, design, graphic designing, agriculture business management, finance, production engineering, thermal engineering, power electronics, power engineering, marketing. JECRC UG admissions are offered to courses such as B.A. (Hons), B.Com L.L.B, B.B.A., B.Sc., etc. For undergraduate programmes, candidates will be offered JECRC admissions only if the candidate has been declared pass in the qualifying examination clearly. Candidates with compartment will not be considered for Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University UG admissions. It must be noted that for the B.Tech programme, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main scores. However, the primary factor for B.Tech  physical counselling at JECRC University would be the aggregate marks obtained in class 12th. Candidates who are willing to take admission in law integrated programmes must note that preference shall be given to candidates with valid CLAT scores. Admissions to B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) will be given to students who have qualified for JET.

Students must note that for M.B.A admissions at Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University preference will be given to students who have qualified CAT/MAT/XAT followed by a GD and PI process. For postgraduate courses except for M.B.A and M.S.W.,  the merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Students having compartments in any of the previous years shall not get credit for the subjects which they have not passed at the time of admission. The final JECRC University Admissions shall be reserved by the university which will be final and binding. Candidates need to appear for an entrance which includes a written test (70 marks) and an interview (30 marks) for Ph.D. admissions at Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University.

• Candidates must fill Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University application form by visiting the official website of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University - www.jecrcuniversity.com.

• Candidates must pay the JECRC University application form fee. 

• Ph.D. Payment can be made through a credit/ debit card at the time of submission of the application.

• Candidates must fill the application form carefully and recheck it before submitting it.

• Once the application is submitted, the system of JECRC University admissions will generate a unique application number which may be noted by the candidates as the same shall act as a Reference Number for all subsequent correspondence till the candidate is actually admitted.

JECRC University Admissions - UG Programmes

The university offers 53 courses at the undergraduate level. Some of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University UG courses are B.Com, B.Sc., B.Des, B.Tech, etc.  Admission to some UG courses is based on merit while some are based on the national level entrance examinations. Admission to B.Tech at JECRC University is based on JEE Main scores. For all law integrated programmes, students who will have valid CLAT scores will be given preference. It must be noted that for B.Sc Agriculture (Hons), appearing for JET is mandatory.

• Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university.

• A merit list will be prepared by the university based on the marks obtained by candidates in class 12th.

• The ranks in the respective merit lists shall be available on the JECRC University website against the application number printed on the application form.

• Candidates must appear in person for physical counselling for admission before the admission committee with all the required documents.

• Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University admissions will be only offered after complete document verification and payment of the fees.

• Candidates should have passed class 12th in PCM/PCB stream with 50% marks to be eligible for B.Tech admissions at JECRC University.

• After meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates must fill the application form of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University.

• Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University will prepare a merit list for B.Tech candidates based on JEE Main scores.

• Candidates with valid JEE Main scores need to participate in physical counselling where the primary factor would be marks obtained in class 12th.

• Candidates are required to enter the examination scores in the application form as soon as the result is announced.

• The final selection will be made based on the marks obtained by candidates JEE Main score, physical counselling, document verification and payment of the fees.

• Aspirants must fulfil the course requirements.

• Candidates who will qualify for JET will only be considered for Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University admissions.

Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre University PG Admissions

A total of 36 courses are offered at the PG level. JECRC University PG courses are M.B.A, M.Sc., M.A., M.Com etc. Except for M.B.A and M.S.W. courses, the merit list shall be prepared based on the academic performance in the exam result. Therefore, the admission committee will see if the candidate is able to meet the eligibility criteria or not. An important point to note is that preference will be given to students with a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT for M.B.A admissions followed by a group discussion and personal interview. For M.S.W. admissions, there will be a GD and PI round.

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of a course they want to take admission in.

• Eligible candidates will then have to fill the application form and pay the application form fee.

• JECRC University will prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

• Students may admit provisionally subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. In that case, the merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained up to the final year examination. 

• The final decision will be taken by the admissions committee which will be binding and final.

• Candidates who have completed graduation and obtained a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for M.B.A admissions.

• Eligible candidates must apply for the programme by filling the JECRC University application process.

• Candidates must qualify for the GD and PI process and preference shall be given to those who have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT.

• Candidates who will qualify the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be considered for admission.

• Candidates must verify their documents and pay the course fees for the final selection.

• Candidates having a valid UGC - CSIR JRF / NET qualification or candidates having a passport of a foreign country shall be exempted for appearance in the entrance test.
