JK Lakshmipat University offers admission to the undergraduate (B.Tech, BBA, B.Des), postgraduate (MBA, M.Tech) and doctoral (Ph.D.) courses. Admission to some courses is done through All India level entrance examination while for some courses admission will be done through University Level Entrance Examination. The detailed admission process is given below:
For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech/B.Des/BBA):
- For B.Tech, candidates should qualify one of the national level entrance exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).
- Candidates who have not appeared for the JEE Main Exam will have to appear for JKLU Engineering Entrance Test (EET).
- An eligible candidate should fill an application form by paying the fee for admission to the University.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process followed by an interview.
- For BBA, candidates should qualify a 10+2 examination for admission to the BBA course.
- Eligible candidates should fill an application form by paying the application fee that is Rs 600 for admission to the University.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process followed by an interview.
- For B.Des, candidates should qualify Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED)/ NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT).
- Candidates who have not appeared for UCEED/NID DAT will have to appear for JKLU Design Entrance Test (DET).
- An eligible candidate should fill an application form by paying the fee for admission to the University.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process followed by an interview.
For Postgraduate Courses (MBA/M.Tech):
- For MBA, candidates should qualify CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT or any other national level entrance test.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit score of CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for two rounds of interviews.
- Candidates who have qualified the first round of interviews will be appearing for the second round.
- The final selection will be done through merit on the overall performance in the entrance test and interview.
- For M.Tech, candidates should qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
- An eligible candidate should fill an application form by paying the fee for admission to the University.
- Preference will be given to the GATE qualified candidates and if seats remain vacant admission will be given to the candidates on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.
For Doctoral Courses (Ph.D):
- An eligible candidate should fill an online application form by paying the fee for admission to the University.
- Candidates should qualify JKLU Entrance Test conducted by the University.
- NET/SET/GATE or any other equivalent national test qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance test.

J K Lakshmi pat University (JKLU), Jaipur is a privately owned UGC approved college. It is ranked 66th for BBA by India Today. Bachelors in business administration is a three year long undergraduate degree course. The eligibility criteria for BBA at JKLU is a minimum of 50% marks aggregate for your 10+2 level education from a recognized board of education. Candidates appearing in the final exam can also apply.
