    About KIIT University

    Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar was established in 1992 by Achyuta Samanta. KIIT has been recognised by UGC and accredited by NAAC. The university offers admission to courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar offers a total of 64 courses out of which 32 courses are offered at the UG level, 26 courses at the PG level and 6 courses at the doctoral level.     KIIT Admissions

    KIIT Scholarships

    A number of fellowships and scholarships are extended by KIIT for its students in an attempt to promote higher education. The university provides various types of scholarships to meritorious students and students belonging to the weaker sections of the society. KIIT University scholarships are given out in the form  of stipends and fee relaxation. These scholarships are provided by the central government through the national scholarship portal.     The university has a dedicated placement cell called the Career Advisory and Augmentation Services (CAAS) that looks after the recruitment process and coordinates dates and schedules with companies and students.     KIIT UG Admission Process

    • First, candidates have to meet the required KIIT University eligibility criteria for UG admissions. 

    • Eligible candidates have to fill the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) application form released on the official website of KIIT University.

    • Applicants will have to appear for KIITEE.

    • The result for the entrance exam is declared on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the entrance examination.

    • Candidates have to meet the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) cutoff to secure a seat for themselves. 

    • Candidates who get shortlisted are sent call letters for attending the KIITEE counselling.

    • Later, candidates have to participate in the KIITEE counselling and seats are allotted on the basis of marks secured in the entrance exam.

    • After the allotment of seats, candidates have to get the documents verified and pay the KIIT University admission fees.

    KIIT B.Arch Admission Process

    • Candidates seeking KIIT B.Arch admission have to apply and appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

    • Candidates seeking admission in B.Arch must fill the online application form from the official website of the university.

    • Candidates who meet the NATA cutoff will become eligible for admission.

    • Candidates who qualify the NATA exam by securing the minimum qualifying marks become eligible to participate in the NATA counselling.

    • During the counselling, students must choose KIIT as their desired college.

    Without a doubt, the college has excellent infrastructure. It has all of the labs and instruments that an electronics engineering student needs. All classes have white boards, smart screens, and projectors to facilitate hybrid and regular classes. Hostels are very nice and clean, but the food quality is inconsistent.
