KSOU Mysore Admission Process
Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) offers admission to its 32 UG and PG courses in the field of Science, Arts, Commerce, Education, Law, Business Management Studies, Biological Science, Advance Science and Technology and many more in two cycles- November to February and May to August. KSOU admissions to all these courses are based on merit. KSOU UG Admissions is based on the marks of 10+2 level exam or its equivalent. KSOU PG Admissions is based on the marks of the graduation level as per the requirements of the courses. Procedures of KSOU UG Admissions and KSOU PG Admissions are the same.
KSOU UG Admissions
KSOU offers BA, BCom, BLibSc programmes at UG level. KSOU UG admissions is based on the candidates aggregate percentage in 10+2 exam or its equivalent. The eligibility criteria for KSOU UG Admissions are as follows:

KSOU PG Admissions
KSOU offers MA, MSc, MCom, MLibSc, MBA and PGDM programmes at PG level. KSOU PG admissions is based on the candidates aggregate marks in the graduation level. The eligibility criteria for KSOU PG Admissions are as follows:

KSOU Application Process
Admission to various programmes can be made through any of the following three modes. The modes are as follows:
Admission through Regional Centres/ HeadQuarters directly
Candidates need to apply through KSOU website: www.ksoumysuru.ac.in. and click on admission portal or visit directly to the nearest Regional Centres/ HeadQuarters (Mysuru).
Candidates need to upload required self attested scanned documents.
Candidates need to visit the nearest Regional Centres/ HeadQuarters (Mysuru) along with necessary original documents and one set of photo copy.
Candidates need to pay the prescribed admission fees online after verification of documents.
Candidates are then required to collect roll number, study material and ID card.
Admission through Learner Support Centres
- Candidate needs to visit the nearest Learner Support Centres along with necessary self attested documents.
- Learner Support Centres counsels the student and verifies the document for eligibility.
Learner Support Centres uploads the necessary documents through KSOU portal.
Learner Support Centres takes approval from the concerned Regional Centre/ HeadQuarters (Mysuru) which verifies the documents.Candidates need to pay the prescribed admission fees online after verification and approval of documents.
Candidate needs to visit the concerned Regional Centres/ HeadQuarters (Mysuru) along with necessary original document, fee receipt and one set of photo copy of original documents for verification.
Candidates are then required to collect roll number, study material and ID card.
Self Admission
Candidates should apply through KSOU website: www.ksoumysuru.ac.in and click on admission portal.
Candidates should fill the application and select the nearest Learner Support Centre and Regional Centre.
Candidates should upload required self attested scanned documents.
Candidates should pay stipulated processing fee online.
Candidates should visit selected Regional Centres/ HeadQuarters along with necessary original documents and one set of photo copy for verification.
Candidates should pay the stipulated fee after verification of documents.
Candidates shall pay admission fees online except processing fee.
Candidates are then required to collect their roll number, study material and ID card.

The candidates must have passed the two-year pre-university examination conducted by the pre-university education board in Karnataka state or any other examination are considered equivalent. For other states candidates, the candidate must have successfully completed 12 years of schooling (either 10+2 or 11+1 or Higher Secondary examination 12 Years of Schooling) excluding nursery education. In addition to this, KSOU BA admission is based on the merit of candidates' performance in Class 12.
