Kumaun University Admission

Kumaun University offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. As per the Kumaun University admission process, admission to all the UG and PG programmes except for MEd/BEd/LLM/LLB and MBA admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is the marks of class 12 will be considered for admission to UG admission and for Kumaun University PG admission will be on the basis of marks secured in the graduation. Kumaun University Admission Process to all the UG and PG programmes except for MEd/BEd/LLM/LLB and MBA

• Candidates have to download the application form and submit the completely filled form along with all the required documents on the website of Kumaun University.

• As per the admission criteria, the selection of the students will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is the marks of class 12 will be considered for admission to Kumaun University UG admission and for the master programme, it will be on the basis of marks secured in the graduation.

• A merit list will be prepared for shortlisting the candidates on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination and such candidates shall be eligible for the further Kumaun University admission procedure.

• Candidates aspiring to take admission have to fulfil the eligibility criteria then submit an online application on the website of the Kumaun University.

• Applicants have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university for the respective programmes.

• A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination for shortlisting the candidates for further Kumaun University process.

Kumaun University MBA Admission

• MBA aspirants have to apply and appear for MAT/CAT/CMAT and secure valid scores.

• Aspirants who have not appeared in the above-mentioned exams have to apply and appear for the entrance test conducted by the Kumaun University.

Kumaun University PhD Admission

• Applicants have to appear for entrance test - Research Degree Entrance Test conducted by the Kumaun University.

• Candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR-JRF or equivalent national test are exempted from RDET.
