LPU Jalandhar admissions are offered to diploma, UG, PG and doctoral levels. LPU admissions are offered to courses such as M.Arch, M.Pharma, L.L.M, M.Sc, M.Tech, M.Des, M.Ed, B.Arch, B.Des, B.Sc, B.Tech, B.C.A and many more. Students willing to take admission in any of these courses must first fulfil the eligibility criteria. Selection of students to LPU diploma courses is done based on merit in the qualifying examination. For other programmes offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, the university conducts an entrance exam - Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST).

Admission to LPU UG courses are offered in the field of engineering, design, law, management, arts, etc. The fee structure for LPU B.Arch course is Rs. 12.40 Lakhs. Students must fill the online application form in order to apply for admission.

• Aspiring students must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Admissions are given to these courses through LPUNEST for which students must apply through the official website.

• However, for a few LPU UG courses, students will also have to apply and appear for national level examinations:

  • Undergraduate design programmes - UCEED

  • Integrated law programmes - CLAT, LSAT India

  • B.Tech - JEE Main

• Based on the marks of the entrance examination, candidates are allotted ranks on the basis of which they have to participate in LPUNEST counselling.

• Candidates who have appeared in LPUNEST are allotted seats on the basis of its rank and on the basis of the choice of their course/programme.    

• LPU Jalandhar admissions are confirmed only after the verification of documents and fee payment.

• Aspirants seeking admission must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.

• For LPU PG admissions to different courses, students will have to appear for the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST).

• However, for a few other courses, students will have to appear for national level examinations like:

  • M.Pharm - GPAT

  • LLB - LSAT India

  • M.Des -  CEED

  • M.Tech - GATE

• Valid scores of CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT are also accepted for LPU M.B.A admissions.

• Based on the scores and performance of the candidates in the entrance examination, candidates are shortlisted for an interview.

• The final selection of the candidates is based on performance in the personal interview, written essays and work experience with a weightage of 60%, 20% and 20% respectively.

• Shortlisted candidates have to complete the LPU admission process by getting documents verified and by paying the required course fees.

LPU Jalandhar Doctoral Admissions

LPU, Jalandhar fee structure for doctoral  courses ranges from Rs. 66,000 to Rs. 7.44 Lakhs. The duration of LPU Ph.D course is 3 years.

LPU Ph.D Admission Process

• LPU Ph.D admissions are only given to candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates have to apply and appear for Ph.D Entrance Test conducted by the university.

• The entrance exam is followed by a round of personal interviews.

• The university shortlists candidates on the basis of the entrance examination and performance in the personal interview.

• Shortlisted candidates have to pay the Lovely Professional University admission fee and get their documents verified to secure admission.
