Himalayan Garhwal University (HGU), Pauri was established in 2016 under the Government of Uttarakhand. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). HGU Pauri has eight faculties under its administration namely Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Faculty of Computer Application, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Humanities and Science, Faculty of Vocational Education, Faculty of Paramedical and Pharmacy and Faculty of Law.

Firstly, students have to fill the application forms online on the website of the university.
Students must submit the application forms along with requisite documents and pay the amount of fees.
Students will be offered HGU Pauri admissions on the basis of the scores of Himalayan Garhwal University Entrance Exam (HGUEE).
For MBA programmes, students also have to clear the GD and PI round to get admissions.
However, for MBA programmes, MAT and CAT scores are also considered.

Hostels- HGU Pauri provides separate hostels to boys and girls. Students have to fill the application forms for hostels separately and rooms are allotted based on the availability. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students.
Library- The central library of Himalayan Garhwal University, Pauri is equipped with textbooks and reference books covering all subjects of Agriculture, Humanities & Social Sciences Commerce & Management, Computer Applications, Vocational Studies, Pharmacy & Para-Medical, Law etc. The library also has a collection of reports, encyclopedias, National & International journals, audio and visual resources, CDs, educational videos and thesis/reports. Yes,we do have all the necessary infra,facilities . Though it’s not the same like universities shown in karan johar movies! Yes all the class rooms,labs etc are well maintained. Yess everything is clean and clear!
