MNLU Nagpur Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The university offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. B.A. L.L.B, L.L.M and Ph.D. Law are offered National Law University Nagpur admissions. MNLU Nagpur admission is entirely entrance based. According to the National Law University Nagpur UG admission process, eligible students need to appear for CLAT followed by counselling. Candidates desirous of taking admission to L.L.M at National Law University Nagpur need to sit for CLAT PG. For National Law University Nagpur Ph.D. admissions, applicants need to sit for an All India Entrance Test (AIET). All the candidates who have applied for Ph.D. programme shall appear for the All India Entrance Test except those who have qualified UGC NET, JRF, CSIR, SLET, GATE, M.Phil., a judge who has served for a minimum of three years as a Judge of High Court in India or Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as per these regulations. Further, AIET qualified candidates are required to attend an interaction with the Research Committee on their preliminary proposal of research.

The university offers B.A. L.L.B for National Law University Nagpur UG admissions. The total seat intake for B.A. L.L.B at MNLU Nagpur is 120. Candidates need to sit for CLAT followed by counselling for MNLU Nagpur UG admissions.

National Law University, Nagpur L.L.M Admission 

• Meet the eligibility criteria and fill CLAT PG application form.

• Candidates must appear and obtain valid scores in CLAT PG.

• Students need to meet the CLAT PG cutoff to participate further in the National Law University admission process.

• CLAT PG qualified students need to participate in CLAT PG counselling.

• Students must select MNLU Nagpur as their preferred college for admission.

National Law University, Nagpur Ph.D. Eligibility

National Law University, Nagpur Admission 

• First, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria for National Law University Ph.D. admission.

• Appear for an All India Entrance Test (AIET).

• Students who have qualified UGC NET, JRF, CSIR, SLET, GATE, M.Phil., a judge who has served for a minimum of three years as a Judge of High Court in India or Judge of the Supreme Court of India are exempted from the entrance test.

• AIET qualifying marks 55% for the general category candidates and 50% for the candidates from other categories, i.e., SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and specially-abled persons.

• All the candidates who have qualified AIET and those exempted need to attend an interaction with the Research Committee on their preliminary proposal of research.

• Candidates are required to submit a preliminary proposal (both in soft and hard copy) of research not exceeding 1500 words indicating the hypothesis, statement of the problem, research outlines, set of research questions, proposed research methodology, survey of literature and expected outcomes of the research. 

• Shortlisted candidates based on preliminary proposals called for interaction with the Research Committee. 

• Students who successfully qualified interaction with the Research Committee on the preliminary proposals shall be admitted provisionally to Ph.D. Law at National Law University, Nagpur. 

• Final admission is offered based on the All India Entrance Test, interaction with the Research Committee on pre-proposal, course work, and presentation on the final research proposal before the Research Committee.
