About Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer

Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University or MDSU, Ajmer is a State University established in 1987. The university is recognised by UGC. The university is accredited by NAAC with a Grade B++. The university offers diploma, UG, PG and doctoral level courses. A total of 71 courses are offered at MSDU Ajmer. The university also offers scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal and through the Rajasthan Government. MDSU also has a placement cell that is responsible for career guidance and recruitment of the students. There is a long list of facilities that are offered by the university as well that includes hostels, library, canteen, bank, and other things. A total of 115 colleges are affiliated to MDSU Ajmer.

For admissions at MDSU Ajmer, students must fill the online application form. For admissions to B.Ed and M.Ed courses at the university, students have to appear for PTET and PMET, respectively. While for M.B.A admissions, applicants have to apply and appear for CMAT (Common Management Admission Test). Admissions to all other UG and PG courses are done on the merit of the students in the qualifying examinations. Moreover, for MDSU Ph.D admissions, students have to appear for a Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the university.

Post-Matric & CM Scholarship	Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/SBC/DNT category and are studying in Class 11 or 12 at a recognised school.	The scholarship majorly covers the maintenance allowance and fees of higher studies.
Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students	Students under this scholarship are offered maintenance allowance, study tour charges, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, reader charges (for blind students), book allowance and more.	Students in the post-secondary level.
Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme	Students who have passed their class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks and come under the merit list of first 1 lakh students whose annual family income is not more than Rs. 2.50 lakhs.	Rs. 5,000 per annum.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students	Should be an SC student with a total family income up to Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum from all sources, along with a secured admission in a degree in a notified institute.	100% tuition fees along with Rs. 2200 per month as living expenses And Rs. 3000 for books per annum. Also, Rs. 45000 for a personal computer as a one-time payment.
