Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biomedical Engineering is a full-time four-year engineering faculty undergraduate program and it is offered by the School of Engineering and Technology at the Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh.
Biomedical engineers analyze and design solutions to problems in biology and medicine, with the goal of improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care. Biomedical engineers design electrical circuits, software to run medical equipment, or computer simulations to test new drug therapies. They also design and build artificial body parts such as hip and knee joints. In some cases, they develop the materials needed to make the replacement body parts. They also design rehabilitative exercise equipment. Some specialty areas within biomedical engineering include bioinstrumentation; biomaterials; biomechanics; cellular, tissue, and genetic engineering; clinical engineering; medical imaging; orthopedic surgery; rehabilitation engineering; and systems physiology.
Admission will be based on the candidate's rank in Mody University Engineering Entrance Test/JEE-Mains/any State Level Engineering Entrance Test.
A candidate must hae passed the 10+2 from CBSE or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry/Computer Science/Bio-Technology/Biology and adequate proficiency in English from any recognized board.
