NIT Calicut Placements
The National Institute of Technology Calicut has a placement committee that offers students job opportunities on campus. Every year, the NIT Calicut placement committee organises a placement drive to assist its students in obtaining job offers from well-known companies. NIT Calicut placement committee trains students through various activities such as group discussions, mock interviews, guest lectures, seminars, and so on. The placement committee at National Institute of Technology Calicut develops strong relationships with reputable organisations and ensures that students are placed appropriately.
As per the NIT Calicut NIRF Placement Report for the year 2020-21, a total of 722 UG students from Engineering stream, out of 850 got placed in various organisations with a median salary of Rs. 9,10,000 while 89 students opted for higher studies.

Yaa the college is good and the placements are good only for few branches but not for all. There are restrictions for placements. Students with certain CGPA are only allowed for placements. College is supportive .

Any choice that you make between these great colleges will be purely a trade-off between a branch and a good location and college. If we consider the order on the basis of the quality of the college, then the preference order will be:
BITS Goa/Hyd
NIT Rourkela
SVNIT
VIT Vellore
IIIT Guwahati
This order will be the most accepted as even though you won't get CS in BITS, however the exposure they provide in various fields like Finance, Economics is unparalleled.
