NIT Puducherry Fee Structure 2024 - Candidates can check the fee structure of NIT Puducherry to know the amount of fee that has to be paid to the institute. After admission, all candidates are required to pay the fee to confirm their admission and to pursue their studies. NIT Puducherry Courses & Fees
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Puducherry courses span various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes with varied areas of specialisation. For NIT Puducherry B. Tech. course, the candidates have to attempt the JEE Main and must be allotted a seat in NITPY through the counselling rounds of JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), while for M. Tech courses, the students should appear for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) which are the prescribed qualifying examinations for both these courses. The NIT Puducherry admission for Ph.D. programmes is based on the marks scored in a master's degree, dissertation, or thesis submitted by the candidate, marks scored in the entrance examination, and the performance of the candidate in the personal interview round conducted by the institute. College Infrastructure
This college has good infrastructure and all necessary things. Among other new nits, this nit has a permanent campus and developing at a very faster rate. But one disadvantage is there is no single tree in whole campus.
Overall it is comfortable life here with plenty of time left

College Infrastructure
Since it is a new nit, things are still being built here but at a faster rate..And basic things like classroom,library,laboratory,food, wifi are present..And A.C.'s are there for first year's new boys hostel..
Unexpected experience from a new NIT.

As a new NIT that got started on 2009 and just moved to permanent campus 3 years ago the college infrastructure development is next level. Labs, classrooms and hostels are there - most new NITs don't have permanent campus. Sports facilities are improving starting from volleyball, basketball and badminton.

To get a seat.in any NIT candidates has to appear inJee mains exam with a sc ore of atleast 90 percentile of marks for general candidate.But for EWS candidates the percentile of marks in jee mains is 85-80 percentile of marks in jee mains for below category NIT like NIT Goa,NIT Hamirpur,NIT Agartala,NIT Srinagar,NIT Nagpur,NIT Silchar,the rank required for these NITs mentioned above within aiq 30,000.As you have the rank of 28,000 in jee mains so you have a chance for admission in any of the NITs among 31NITs in India.
